We’ve been keeping a little secret.
Our new adventure begins December 2025.
✨✨✨✨✨ by @therebirth.nz

The Rebirth was born from my own experience of miscarriage and the many layers of grief that followed.
I struggled to find the kind of support I needed.

A space to process what had happened.
To feel what I was feeling.
To reconnect with my body.
And eventually, to find trust in myself again.

So, in many ways, I became the support I needed.
What began as my own journey of healing, reconnection and empowerment grew into The Rebirth… first through yoga, breathwork and coaching.

But birth had actually always been somewhere in the background of my life.

My mum is a midwife, so conversations about pregnancy, birth and babies were pretty normal in our house. Birth wasn’t something that felt foreign or taboo, it was simply something I’d grown up hearing about and talking about.
I was also lucky enough to be present for my youngest sister’s homebirth, and I remember it being such a vivid and powerful experience.

I think those experiences quietly shaped the way I saw birth, long before I ever imagined becoming a doula.

Then, in 2023, a friend asked me:
“Will you be my doula?”
I said yes.
I trained to be a Doula and as i stepped into that birth space opened something up for me.

I realised how much I loved being beside a woman through such an enormous transition.

Because a doula isn’t there to tell you how to birth.

She’s not there to make decisions for you or replace your midwife or medical team.
She’s there to walk beside you.
To help you prepare.
To listen.
To remind you of your choices.
To support your partner.
To bring calm when things feel uncertain.
And sometimes, simply to look at you and say:
“You’ve. Take a breath. One moment at a time.”

I fell in love with birth work.

And then I became a mother myself.

A little reminder from my own life lately…
Sometimes coming home to yourself isn’t about doing more.
It’s about creating enough space to actually be here.

This is the heart behind The Homecoming. 🧡
We begin this Tuesday.

2 spaces left 🧡

5 fortnightly gatherings + 1 beautiful in-person retreat day.

Payment plans available xx by @therebirth.nz

A cup-filling morning 🤍

A little reminder that mums need filling up too.

This morning was all about slowing down, taking a deep breath and moving our bodies.

There were some honest and raw conversations, beautiful connections and that feeling of being seen.

The kind of morning that leaves your cup a little fuller, your heart a little lighter, and reminds you that you don’t have to do motherhood alone.

So grateful for @alex.ballagh - @therebirth.nz and @venue.105 🤍 by @therebirth.nz

When I stepped back I could actually see it…

Maybe I didn’t need another plan, to figure out the answers. Maybe I didn’t need to work harder.

Maybe I just needed to return back to myself 🤍

The Homecoming begins next week!
Here’s an intentional space we’ve created for YOU to step back and return home

What if you didn’t have to come home to yourself alone? 🧡

We created The Homecoming as a space to slow down, reconnect, breathe, feel and remember who you are underneath all the noise.

And sometimes… it’s even more beautiful when you have someone beside you.

So we’re opening up a Bring a Friend offer:

✨ $777 each when you come together.

Bring your best friend.
Your sister.
Your mum.
The woman you’ve been saying “we need to do something together” to for the last three years 😂

Someone you feel safe with.
Someone you’d love to grow alongside.
Someone who might need this space just as much as you do.

For three months, you’ll have a space to:

🌿 feel safer within yourself
🌿 understand and support your nervous system
🌿 meet yourself with more compassion
🌿 reconnect with your intuition and inner knowing
🌿 remember that you have the power to choose
🌿 and create more space to actually feel like yourself again

5 online gatherings + 1 beautiful in-person retreat day.

No fixing.
No performing.
No becoming someone else.

Just two women choosing to pause, breathe, explore and come home to themselves… together.

The Homecoming | Bring a Friend
$777 each

If someone immediately came to mind while reading this…

Maybe that’s your girl. 🧡

Tag her below or send this post her way and see if she feels the call too.

Ps payment plans still available for bring a friend.

POV: You realised you’re not actually here to heal anyone…

You’re here to make healthy sweet treats, bake things, breathe deeply and remind people they have the ability to heal themselves. 😂

Because apparently I had to learn that I’m not responsible for everyone’s healing.

For a long time, I thought being a good facilitator meant knowing what someone needed.

Having the answer.
Helping them get to the breakthrough.
Guiding them just right.

You know… that fixer behaviour. 😂

And I think this is something we need to talk about more in the healing world.

Because you can genuinely love people.
You can genuinely want to help.
You can be deeply passionate about healing…

…and still have a part of you that wants to fix, rescue or save.

I’ve had to get really honest with myself about that.

Because the more I do my own work, the more I realise:

It’s not my job to heal you.

I can hold the space.
I can create safety.
I can ask the questions.
I can walk beside you.

But I cannot do your healing for you.

And honestly?

I don’t want to.

Because when you discover something for yourself, it lands differently.

When you realise you can move through the thing you thought would break you…

When you hear your own truth…

When you realise you actually can trust yourself…

That is where the real empowerment is.

I don’t want you leaving a session thinking,
“Thank god she told me what to do.”

I want you leaving thinking,

“Oh… I actually knew that.”

That’s the work I care about.

Less dependency.
Less looking outside yourself for the answer.

More safety.
More self-trust.
More remembering who you are.

And yes…

I’ll probably make you a raw slice while we’re at it. 😂

Because healing can be deep and you’re still allowed to eat something delicious.

I’m not here to be your guru.
I’m here to remind you that you’re capable of becoming your own. by @therebirth.nz

Happy first Father’s Day, 🤎

We hope you know just how deeply loved and appreciated you are.

Watching you become a Dad has been one of the greatest joys. Seeing the love you have for Milo, the way you make him laugh, the way his whole face lights up when he’s with you.

And… seeing you with your chainsaw, chopping wood with the biggest grin on your face 😂, and watching how much joy the simple things bring you, truly lights up our world too.

Thank you for keeping our fire going and our home warm.
For the shower tag teams.
For the endless dishes.
For taking us on adventures.
For getting us outside.
For the dance parties .
For the cuddles, the play, the laughter and all the little moments in between.

But most of all, thank you for simply being you.

For being our teammate.
Our adventure buddy.
Our steady place to land.
The person who brings so much warmth, joy and love into our little family.

So much of what you do might seem ordinary, but it’s the ordinary moments that become our life and we wouldn’t want this life with anyone else.

Milo is so lucky to call you Dad.

And I am so lucky to watch you be one.

We love you more than you know.

The Homecoming is an invitation to slow down, reconnect and create space.

To come back to the wisdom that’s already within you. 🤍

Spaces are filling up, are you ready to join us?

Maybe you’ve been feeling a little disconnected from yourself lately.

You’re only just functioning.

You’re getting things done.

You’re showing up for everyone else.

But somewhere underneath it all, you know you’re not really here.

You’re tired of overthinking.

Tired of putting everyone else’s needs before your own.

Tired of reacting in ways you don’t understand.

Tired of knowing what you should do, but struggling to actually feel differently.

Maybe you’ve read the books.
Listened to the podcasts.
Done the courses.

You have the information.

But something is still missing.

SPACE.

Space to slow down.
Space to feel.
Space to breathe.
Space to listen.

Space to come back to yourself.

This is why we created The Homecoming.

A 3-month intentional space to reconnect with yourself through nervous system support, breathwork, meditation, reflection and gentle exploration.

Not to fix you.

Not to tell you who you should be.

But to support you in becoming more connected to your own body, your own heart and your own inner knowing.

So you can begin to:

Feel safe within yourself.
Trust yourself.
Listen to yourself.
Choose for yourself.
And come home to yourself.

Because sometimes the answer isn’t more.

It’s creating enough space to finally hear what’s already there.

The Homecoming.

5 online sessions + 1 in-person day retreat.

A journey back to you. 🤍

Sometimes, in our desire to heal, we can rush to fix what we’re feeling.

“Bring love to this part of you.”
“Choose compassion.”
“Shift your perspective.”
“Let it go.”

And whilst I absolutely believe there is a place for love and compassion, I also think there is something incredibly important about acknowledging what is actually here.

Maybe that situation was fucking frustrating.

Maybe the grief is really, really deep.

Maybe you’re angry.

Maybe you’re sad.

Maybe this experience just hurts.

Before we try to transform the feeling, can we be willing to be with it?

Because bringing love to an experience isn’t about sugarcoating it or pretending it isn’t painful.

It’s about creating enough safety to actually feel what is here.

To stop avoiding it.
To stop dismissing it.
To stop trying to make it something it isn’t.

Sometimes healing isn’t about changing the experience.

Sometimes it’s about becoming present enough to finally let yourself experience it. 🤍 by @therebirth.nz

A peaceful home starts with peaceful parents. 🤍

We’re often told how “peaceful” Milo is, and I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the effort that goes into making this possible.

Because a peaceful home isn’t just something that happens.

It’s something we consciously create.

Here are 5 things we do as a couple to protect the peace within our home:

1. Time to ourselves.
We encourage each other to have alone time. Time to fill up our cup, decompress and process whatever might be creating dis-ease within us.

2. Nature time.
Time outside to reset our energy and create space. Sometimes being inside, in the same environment, can feel dense. Getting outside gives us room to breathe, move and shift perspective.

3. Breathwork.
Creating space to breathe. Nothing to fix. Nothing to achieve. Simply taking a few breaths and coming back to the present moment before we react from a place of overwhelm.

4. Radical self-responsibility.
What I’m feeling is my responsibility.
Less projection. More curiosity.

What is it that I actually needed?
Why did I feel upset, angry or hurt?
What is this bringing up for me?
And how can I communicate that?

5. We come back to each other.
Space doesn’t mean disconnection. It gives us the opportunity to regulate, reflect and then return.

We talk. We listen. We take responsibility for our part. We repair.

Because protecting the peace in our home doesn’t mean we never experience frustration, anger or tension.

It means we’ve created enough space to feel it without making it everyone else’s.

And perhaps that’s one of the greatest gifts we can give our children:

Not parents who are peaceful all the time…

but parents who know how to come back to themselves, and then come back to each other. 🤍 by @therebirth.nz
