She asked for a new desk and this happened... by @theredrobotproject

Something seems a bit off with this Leo from NECA. His vibe is much darker with a side of punk.

This very different Leo has a quite confused backstory: he either journeyed through Donatello's portal and emerged as a Foot Clan loyalist, or he exists in an alternate reality where Mikey never exists.

Considering Michelangelo is on the box art several times, I think the missing Mikey scenario has been debunked. Portal it is, with a twist of course...

What had happened was, Donatello was working on a new, more compact portal and turned a cereal bowl into his new experimental prototype. Unbeknownst to Leo, he poured a bowl of Tokka & Rahzar-Oooz cereal (what else would he eat besides pizza, DUH) straight into the experimental portal and poof!! He was sucked right in.

So why did Leo come back with such a dark disposition? Because he never actually got to eat his breakfast. He got dragged through the multiverse on an empty stomach, and being hangry can have that effect on mutants. But the real mystery is why NECA put "Two Scoops of Evil" on the box when there are literally three Turtles stuck in the bowl on the cover art. That makes zero sense. If you’re trapping your brothers in breakfast food, you've gotta go with a three-scoop minimum, right? DO YOU HAVE THE ANSWER??? If so, let's hear it.

Dirtbag might have the most literal name in the entire classic TMNT lineup, but he is a total sleeper hit on camera.

90s TMNT lore can't decide if he was a subway worker named Chris or a literal zoo mole. Personally? My theory is that Chris was unknowingly doing sewer work right near the TCRI dump site. He took his lunch break, and a wild mole tried to steal his sandwich right out of his neon-pink lunchbox (don't ask). Right then, Shredder came blasting through the bedrock in the subterranean module drill. The massive ground disruption cracked a stray drum of ooze, showering Chris and the mole right as they were wrestling over that sandwich.

The mutation fused Chris and the mole together, melting his industrial gear into peak 90s neon pink to match the lunchbox. The good news is, they both finally got the sandwich.

The bad news is his ultimate mission is now booting Splinter out of the sewers. It’s a turf war that's going to be tough to win—running around a dark, gritty sewer with a glowing neon-pink jackhammer blaster makes it kind of hard to sneak up on a rat.

The Shreddermobile is absolute peak villain energy! 😈🔥

As soon as I got this out for a photo session, I knew the lighting had to be just right to capture that pure, dark villainy. The spiked design is just mean, and I love how every feature of the vehicle references Shredder himself—from the helmet-shaped hood lines to the blades.

Getting the angles on this thing was a blast, especially trying to show off just how intimidating those front blades look. It looks like it drove straight out of the classic cartoon and is ready to make turtle soup.

I had a blast with this JoyToy TMNT Robotic Bebop shoot!

Unlike that Joytoy Slash, this guy doesn't have an overwhelming amount of accessories, but what he does have is perfect. The gun is packed with detail and gangsta AF—but the clip must have run dry mid-shoot, because he resorted to using an old-school parking meter as a weapon 🤣. It’s just hilarious. Effective, but hilarious. With 4 sets of hands, there’s a hand for every occasion (keep it clean, folks...). The two interchangeable wrist weapons are a great touch, too.

I’m honestly still not sure how I feel about the mouth rocket... the element of surprise, I suppose.

The articulation on this guy is fantastic and let me pull off some fun shots, including a "hottest robots of the year" calendar pose. You gotta have fun with it.

Overall, another absolute banger from @joytoy_official. The intricate detail and pose options made this session an absolute blast.

Come on... this TMNT Slash from Mondo is just insane.

The scale of this dude is massive. Sure, the box says 8.5", but what it doesn't highlight is how heavy and chonky he actually is in hand. Even the 4 weapons he comes with are equally thick.

The new diorama is gonna need a quick paint touch-up after two of those weapons fell straight out of his hand mid-shoot 😅. All good though, nothing that can't be easily fixed.

As usual with Mondo, it was a limited run of only 1,000 pieces. Couldn't be happier to add this guy to Mondo my collection.

Another custom TMNT banger by @ehimo_adventures, the Abominable Leo! Where do you even start? The little details are what makes this figure stand out. The tooth necklace... Sabertooth maybe? Probably where he got the scratch on the chest shell! The tusk horn, maybe a mammoth or walrus. This guy has been through it to survive. Even down to the little green beanie. Probably had to take down a skier for that prize. It's like the teeth necklace, the trophy for taking down a skier 🤣. I don't know about you but all I can think about when I see the green hat is the scene from the movie Old School where Will Farrell wants to go streaking "We're going streaking through the quad and into the gymnasium... Snoop, Snoop a loop. Snoop!... Bring your green hat". I need to watch that movie again 🤣.

Anyways, I'm happy have another of Ehimo's art figures in my collection. Scroll to the final pic to see him with the other.

Chromedome got a serious upgrade, and this new look has gone straight to his head.

After getting plated in 24-karat gold, the newly christened Golddome realized he was far too valuable to be taking orders from Shredder. He officially quit the Foot Clan, gave up on turtle hunting entirely, and decided it was time to spruce up his image.

Trading the sewer hunt for a life of organized crime, he put on a sharp purple suit to match his gleaming new crown. Now, he's the undisputed Don of the underworld—proving that if you want to climb the criminal ladder, you've gotta look the part.
