📡TRANSMISSION INCOMING... The signal is getting stronger. Transmission returns to The Refuge for another journey through underground house, techno and electronic frequencies from across the galaxy. 🛸 This time, residents @i.am.sam.chan and @_the_terran_ are joined by very special guest @seklev, the mind behind Exeter’s legendary @alembicattitude parties. A long-standing champion of the weird and wonderful corners of electronic music, Seklev brings a taste for the unexpected, from hypnotic techno and deep dub to leftfield electronica, breaks and whatever else finds its way into the mix. Expect curious sounds, cosmic detours and a few surprises along the way. 👽 And the planets have aligned for a special Transmission, as The Terran completes another orbit around the sun. He’ll be marking his solar return with a two-hour closing set, so expect a voyage into the outer reaches of the dancefloor. 🚀 📍 The Refuge, Exeter 📅 Friday 11th December 🕗 8:00pm – 2:00am 🎟️ Free Entry 🔊 Funktion-One Sound JOIN US 🖖 /standby/ 👽 by @therefugeexeter
Tonight's lineup in the basement is proper fruity!  Come and join Exeter's OG Techno / Electro specialists NoNoM as they turn up the heat (and the fan settings) with 2 of the finest noise makers actively lurking in the SW underground! Amy has been expertly rolling out some of the filthiest beats across the SW's most discerning dancefloors.  She brings a take no prisoners mix of scuzzy proto house, raw acid jackers and sleazy electro beats to the table and has recently ripped up Orbital Gathering, Brockout and Tribal Shakedown. Antiself is making some of the tastiest techno & electro with his ever evolving army of machines and improvised live sets. He's down for a rare DJ set tonight so don't miss out. And if that wasn't enough the OG residents Nanobot & Signal Jammer are in support. These guys have the tracks, the encyclopedic knowledge and pure love and passion for the underground and have contributed so heavily to the SW scene over the years.  It's free entry all night  The music will be on another level  And people will be grinning on the dancefloor  Get involved! by @therefugeexeter
