You know, sometimes it seems surreal. I’m pretty sure people get tired of me going down memory lane, but I really don’t care showing gratitude is the best way to open yourself up for more success by showing what you’re thankful for the now and truth be told, I’m very thankful for where I am now in this moment. I look forward to speaking to more schools and more groups that are interested in medicine/mental health/ pa school. I love to pay it forward. I don’t mind taking time out of my schedule, to show up, to explain, and to teach . I enjoy it actually. I look forward to it & the rest of this year ! The schools that I’m going to be able to reach and talk to. The schools that I have spoken to, the virtual shadowing opportunities that I have done… I am forever grateful. Just looking back on this year alone, I have made great connections with students, faculty and staff. I’m not 100% ready to go into education yet, but it’s coming. 🥂 by @therezilientpac
My first official professional headshot as a physician associate! “It was all a DREAM “ but no really! This road was hard! I had no help financially or academically. Everything was all on me. Of course my family was there BUT no one had been through what I was going through. My mom is a nurse and she was the closest thing. One thing that kept me moving forward was thinking about the consequences of failing. I had nothing else to fall back on so I HAD TO GET IT! By any means necessary. Looking at where I am now is only by the grace of God. If you are thinking about giving up, change your mindset. This dream of yours will come to pass but not if you count yourself out before God has a chance to move! Keep pushing! Sincerely, Rashadah J,DMSC, PA-C , CAQ Psych by @therezilientpac

Your first PA job can shape your confidence for years. And sometimes the biggest red flags don’t sound like red flags at first. “We don’t really have a formal onboarding process.” “You can always ask someone if you need help.” “You’ll build your schedule pretty quickly.” “Most of our patients are straightforward.” 🚩🚩🚩 As a new PA, you should know: • Who is training you • How long orientation lasts • Who you call when you’re stuck • What your patient volume will be • How supervision actually works • What happens when a case is outside your comfort level Needing support as a new graduate is not a weakness. It’s part of practicing responsibly. Save this before your next interview and send it to a PA student who’s graduating soon. #physicianassistant #pastudent #prepa #newgradpa #pacareer by @therezilientpac

You’re not necessarily lacking discipline. Your brain may have learned a very specific reward cycle. Save this for the next time you catch yourself doing it. Mental health is not about labeling every behavior—it is about understanding the function. do you operate better under pressure? by @therezilientpac
