What an amazing weekend with National American Miss! Not only did I see my successor finish her reign with such grace, but we also got to watch history be made!! For the first title, Team JM Pageantry has held three consecutive titles (NAM Indiana Junior Teen), with Serenity being the history maker! From 2024 to 2025, and now to 2026, we are so incredibly proud and excited to continue the JM Legacy.

On this day exactly one year ago, I got the opportunity to audition for the first ever off-broadway production of @suffsmusical with @in.thespians in collaboration with @mtishows , @thespiansociety , and the absolute legends and creatives being the show, @rachsuss and @shainataub .
I’d be lying if I said that I was confident in my audition. In fact, I sat in my bathroom crying the night the auditions were due because I never believed that I could be good enough to participate in such a huge, monumental, first-in-history production. If it wasn’t for my theater teacher reminding me that the worst thing they could say to me way “no” and how hard I had worked for this audition, I don’t think I ever would’ve submitted it. What followed after was multiple callbacks, the best email I could’ve ever received, and a contract to play Phyllis Terrel until January. And then, the contract was extended, and I was blessed to continue playing Phyllis until June 25th of this year.
Last night, the national tour of SUFFS finished its first leg. This show hasn’t just changed my life because it told the history of the suffrage movement in a way I’d never heard (or seen), but because of everything I got out of it. I’ve received several scholarships (and acceptances) to colleges, made so many new friends, learned a new/three new languages (ASL, SEE, and BSL/AASL), and most of all, remembered why I love theater so much. Ultimately, this production is the reason why I’m now looking to pursue the arts professionally as a Dance Physiologist on Broadway or on a Broadway Tour, but also the reason why I never gave up on myself or my dreams, even during one of the hardest years yet.
SUFFS, thank you for the 10 months with the best cast and crew I could’ve ever asked for. @mtishows and @thespiansociety , thank you for giving a high schooler from nowhere-Indiana the opportunity of a lifetime. And to the nearly 10,000 people who watched me perform in SUFFS, and nearly half a million people who watched it on tour, thank you for continuing to march with us.

All smiles today because registration for Royal International Miss’ 2027 International Pageant is officially opened for returning girls! I can’t wait to see who will be welcomed back into the sisterhood for another year and compete in Orlando, Florida from July 3rd to July 10th. And what makes it even sweeter is that this year marks Royal International Miss’ 16th Anniversary!

Going down memory lane today and taking us back to registration at @royalinternationalmiss in honor of something very special happening today… Registration for all Team Northeast’s stage pageants are officially open, including Indiana! The Indiana State Pageant will be held on Saturday, October 24th at Bemis Hall in Lincoln, Massachusetts.

One week ago, you saw me walk away from RIM as a Top Semi-Finalist, 2nd RU for Fitness, and 3rd RU for Talent in the entire world.
But what you didn’t see was my heels breaking apart and me struggling to walk in them the entire week. What you didn’t see was a massive, painful, angry, red cyst forming on my back right before fun fashion and evening gown that made it incredibly painful to leave my hair down or put my hands on my hips because my hair and shoulder blades would irritate it. And most of all, you didn’t see me cry because I thought I wasn’t good enough to be there.

I’m walking away from RIM Internationals Week prouder of myself than I ever have been because despite all of the setbacks (mental and physical), I still accomplished several goals of mine. I still showed up and showed out on every phase of competition. And that’s arguably better than walking away with the international crown; I found myself, found my people, and met every goal of mine that I had set prior to landing in Orlando.
Thank you to my Pageant Coach @jmpageantcoaching , as well as RIM On-Site Coach @amandamorenoconsulting and RIM Team Northeast Coach @gbcpageantservices for helping me not only look my best, but feel the best I ever have during a competition week, despite all of my setbacks. And Jessica, thank you for always making time and space for me to not just practice to become a better competitor, but also to become a better person.
Thank you to @joannsoftennessee , @xobysophias , @viperapparelprom , and @whitethreadbridalalterations for my beautiful outfits that made me feel like a queen both inside and out. And especially to @sheldonsmithsports for capturing all of my outfits in all their glory the entire week!
And to my state director @exit91gal , as well as the entirety of Team Northeast ( @royalinternationalmissnynjnepa ), thank you for helping me through my first ever international pageant.

This is not the end for me as your Royal International Miss Indiana Teen. Until I give up my title, I still have time to do all of the things I promised to do if I became your Royal International Miss Teen - it’s just going to look a little different.

Walking into finals feeling blessed, confident, and ready for whatever life throws my way. I’ve made so many friends, reached all of my goals and then some, and learned something new for myself: I’m okay with not being perfect. Statistically, I’m not likely to win. But in my head, I’ve already won in so many different ways. Most importantly, I can still do all of the things I planned on doing as your RIM Teen as your RIM Indiana Teen because I walked in with a crown and a goal, and I’ll be leaving with a crown and a goal too, even if ends up looking different than how I originally planned it. Feeling incredibly blessed to have walked away from the award ceremony with two awards! While I did also participate in scholarships, they will be handed out during our Final Show, but I still managed to leave the gala with two awards from my three onstage optionals! Thank you so much to my coach @jmpageantcoaching , as well as assistance from RIM Northeast Sponsor @gbcpageantservices and on-site coach @amandamorenoconsulting . I couldn’t have possibly imagined doing this without you! Next up: Finals!!
