gave my dad a facial today before he heads back home to the philippines tonight

its such a blessing that my parents are able to come back and forth every year, sometimes even twice a year, to spend time with us and their grandkids

i got to spend some one on one time with my dad, and i actually got emotional giving him his facial. i know how proud of me he is, like in a different way. he told me man, you can never just settle, your an over achiever 🥹

talk about my eyes were watering but also hella awkward lmao 😭 iykyk filipino parents 😂

community has always been at the heart of everything i do

this summer, The Ritual had the privilege of sponsoring two middle school teams in the @alignworldwide 3 x 3 Summer League.

the best part? watching my son & my niece share the court as teammates 🥹 seeing them encourage each other, compete, & make memories together is something ill never forget.

supporting youth programs like this means so much to me. investing in kids, families, & our local community is one of the most rewarding things a small business can do.

im grateful to have been a part of their journey this season

my thoughts,

for the longest time, i realized i rarely film the entire facial process. instead i always find myself reaching for my camera at the very end.

i always questioned why? well that’s my favorite part.

seeing my clients smile, hearing them say how relaxed they feel, & watching them see their glow for the first time is what means the most to me.

now with so many new faces, creating a space where they feel safe, comfortable, & genuinely cared for will always matter more than getting the perfect content.

i believe & always say everyone does beautiful work, but what separates me, is ME.

& i know that’s what makes this place so special 🥹♥️
