📖My book is launching, and I’d love you to come along. 🍻

Join me on Monday 30 November at the Gordon Messenger Centre in Lympstone, Devon, to celebrate the launch of A Royal Marine Commando in Iraq and Afghanistan: A Story of Surf, Sand and Combat.

The book follows my experiences of travelling, chasing waves and going to war with the Royal Marines, with the friendships and absurd moments that came along the way.

We’ll have a relaxed, podcast-style chat about the stories behind the book, followed by a book signing and a chance to catch up over some beer (2 can rule).

A Lamborghini and an Offshore Helicopter Services helicopter have come together on the runway at Aberdeen Airport to mark an exciting new partnership ahead of this November’s RMA Grampian's Royal Marines Charity Ball organised by George Walker OBE.

The collaboration forms part of an exclusive experience being created for the ball’s live charity auction, helping to raise vital funds in support of the Royal Marines community.

The Royal Marines Charity Ball takes place on Saturday 28 November at the Offshore Helicopter Services hangar at Aberdeen International Airport.

Again, the brotherhood is immense. What a weekend spent with my brothers. RM’s out there you need to come and join us. Young lads who are not long out the box joining us on the speed march to an 80 year old former RM taking part and smashing the 12 mile yomp. Very very special and in the meantime raising well over £20,000 for The Royal Marines Charity. 💚🙏🏼❤️ by @thermcharity

Commando Paddle - Day 1

Helensburgh to Towards point: 16.6nm

The Group must be in Poseidon's's good books as the weather, harbour seals, and porpoises all turned up and rolled the red carpet out for the Group. 🔱

A stop off at Lazaretto saw the paddlers pay their respects to the men of Operation Frankton at Holy Loch memorial, where they boarded HM Submarine "Tuna" on November 30th 1942. 🫡

All in all, a great first day, all being rounded up with Guinness and karaoke in Dunoon. Make hay whislt the sun shines, as Poseiodon's decency never holds long! 🥃

It's Commando Shuffle Day.

In this video, you'll hear from Al Blanchard, who shares why this challenge matters and what it means to those taking part.

As serving and former Royal Marines Commandos, participants are raising funds for the RMA-The Royal Marines Charity by completing a demanding 12-mile speed march. Starting at the War Memorial in Barnstaple, the route follows the Tarka Trail past RMB Chivenor, across Braunton Burrows and along the beach before finishing at Saunton Sands Hotel.

Every mile marched honours the Commando spirit while helping to support serving personnel, veterans and their families.

The Man on the right of the picture is the start of the reason why. Everything has a start point, but what @alblanchard7 and a few others have started has no end. It’s personally given me a sense of purpose again and reinstalled the pride in what I achieved as a teenager. In just under 72 hours we will be undertaking a 12 mi.² speed March in North Devon. The link is in my bio for donations along with two amazing raffle prizes too, all of the money raised goes to the @thermcharity providing much needed funds to those that need it most.
