The older I get, the more I realize that not every belief I held came from God.

For almost four years, I didn’t wear wigs or extensions. I genuinely believed that if I did, I would be disappointing God. So I stayed away from it completely.

Looking back, I don’t regret that season. It taught me discipline, sincerity, and a desire to honor God with every decision I made.

But it also taught me something else.

Sometimes we can build fences where God never built them.

Over time, I learned to separate conviction from fear. I learned that growing in faith also means allowing God to renew the way you think.

So today, wearing extensions isn’t a statement that I’ve walked away from my faith.

It’s a reminder that my relationship with God is deeper than a hairstyle.

And maybe real spiritual maturity isn’t adding more rules.

Maybe it’s learning to recognize His voice above your fears. 🤍

Have you ever realized that something you believed for years wasn’t actually what God was teaching you? by @thernette_

Red = the color of the Lamb’s blood.

It lowkey gives pure love vibes
The kind of love that never flops
His love🩸❤️‍🔥
Red also reminds me of the sacrifices I lay at His feet,
and the boldness Jesus puts in me every day

Jesus said you’re the light🕯️ of the world🌍
So I choose to believe it—and shine✨

🕊️– Matthew 5:14-16

For a while, I felt disconnected—my mind was clouded, and I couldn’t see where I was going. I didn’t post because I didn’t feel aligned with God’s purpose.

But now, I feel blessed—knowing that God is leading me to something bigger. He’s teaching me to express myself and to use my voice to inspire other beautiful souls.
And I’d love to share this journey with you🙌🏾

Share your blessings or lessons below—let’s lift each other up!🔥

God bless🤍🙏🏾 by @thernette_

So thankful I can illustrate.

I used to ask artists to illustrate faith-based illustrations. Unfortunately I didn't find an artist who wanted to do it.

But luckily I learned to do it by myself.

And started an IG page of faith-based illustrations. 🤍

So..
PRAISE THE LORD🙌🏾

My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise.

"This is how I fight my battles"

Going to Jesus with your battles is the best thing to do.

I just love how he works and wins every battle 🔥

Cute reminder: Let God fight your battles boo!🤍 by @thernette_
