We are so excited to announce that Bruce Sudano’s version of Starting Over Again is finally out today. Starting Over Again is a deeply personal song he co-wrote with his late wife Donna Summer about his parents divorce when he was in his early 30’s. The song has a magical history, in that Donna knew how much their late in life divorce was affecting Bruce and decided to perform the song on the Johnny Carson Show, when she was actually scheduled to perform her current single, On The Radio (Nov 28, 1979). She did just that, and then next morning, Bruce and Donna got a call from Dolly Parton’s team, saying she wanted to cover the song! Dolly recorded it for her Dolly, Dolly, Dolly album in Dec, and it was released on Feb 25, 1980. Dolly took the song to #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Chart in May. It’s very fitting that 45 years later, he should release his album Fugitive Kind, and that his recording of Starting Over Again would finally make it to streaming services. We’ve been working on this release timeline for months now, and the stars aligned that this song should finally come out on 9/25, Dolly Parton Day. Give it a listen, share it with a friend that might need to hear it. XO, Cindy by @therocksmgmt

We are thrilled to welcome @jesselynnmadera to The Rocks Management roster! “We’re long-time fans of Jesse as both an artist and a human being”, says Rocks co-founder Chris Tuthill. “She’s always been part of our extended family, but the stars have finally aligned for us to work together.” The singer-songwriter releases her latest single, “Woke Up In LA”, this Friday via her own label Big Fat Dress, ahead of US dates and her UK debut, where Jesse will support iconic Zombies’ vocalist Colin Blunstone on a 16 show run throughout May. As Americana Highways describes: "She doesn’t merely sing the words, she adds the necessary drama that fleshes out the scene in the lyric. A strong mix of tonal subtlety & wounded voicings. Never overdone, or with any unnecessary gutsiness.” Jesse shares that “I’m so excited to begin this next chapter with my friends Chris and Cindy, and the rest of the phenomenal team at The Rocks Management. There’s something really special about building something meaningful with people I know and trust, and I’ve got a good feeling about this leap!” NYC and London friends, please join us for Jesse’s upcoming performances at The Cutting Room (Friday May 1st) and Union Chapel (Thursday May 28th w/Colin Blunstone)! The Rocks Management is proud to announce the moment you've all been waiting for... Odessey and Oracle (Mono Remastered) by The Zombies is officially OUT NOW! The original 1968 album was featured on The Rolling Stone's "500 Greatest Albums of All Time" at #80, and has been praised by countless other musicians for its impact as a psychedelic pop pillar. "Their music stands the test of time and, in my opinion, Odessey and Oracle is one of the greatest records ever made" - Matt Schulz (Cage the Elephant) Boasting classics like "Time of the Season" and "This Will Be Our Year," you can now experience the album the way it was originally intended to be heard and seen. In a raw, rich, and timeless version of the songs you know and love, this album has lovingly been restored - album colors and all. You can listen and order now with the link in our bio. by @therocksmgmt
The Rocks Management is proud to announce the long-awaited remastered MONO version of The Zombies’ legendary album, Odessey and Oracle, available for the first time in decades! Originally released in 1968, this self-produced album features timeless tracks such as “A Rose for Emily,” “This Will Be Our Year,” “Hung Up on a Dream,” and “Time of the Season.” Though the band had disbanded after its release, no one could have predicted the album’s rising impact, or the eventual reunion of the group. 57 years later, Odessey and Oracle remains a pillar of psychedelic pop. We’re beyond excited to bring it back in its original MONO format, lovingly restored, just as the band originally intended for it to be heard. Pre-order it now on thezombiesmusic.shop/collections/odessey-and-oracle by @therocksmgmt
