Its hard to put into words how surreal the other weekend was. Projection mapping for Tipper on one of the nicest venues in the US with some of the greatest visual minds in the world will forever be one of the highlights of my life. This felt like the culmination of a decade of experience and hard work across the entire team. Using @synesthesia.live to light this stage on 🔥🔥🔥This incredible stage was created by @oliver.allaux and @reliquarium, constructed in the jungle in Costa Rica, about a quarter mile from the beach, for @envisionfestival 2023. I was live mixing visuals all week with Oliver and the talented @lumavisual—incredible team. Also the only performance to date where we kept a running tally of *actual* monkeys jumping tree to tree above the stage. Usually it's just a wook count. by @theronpray

hey look it's that time we projection mapped the ceiling for Tipper at @campbisco 2019 🎪performance was a collab between @datagrama_visuals, @cullenhassel, and myself pushing two different live-mixed signals to the main screen and ceiling simultaneouslytech involved joao, @emintzer of @imaginexco and myself stitching together eight 32k lumen projectors into one 15,000sqft canvas—and gettin crazy with the signal flow to get 3 VJs with 5 PCs out to 8 PJs and an LED wall so we could put anyone's content anywhere livemmm, signal spaghetti 🍝#synesthesialive #touchdesigner #madmapper #softwarestack #projectionmapping #realtime #livevisuals by @theronpray

Throwback to where it all started! A lot of firsts here: - My first VJ set on a big stage- Synesthesia's first time on a big stage- Detox Unit's first DJ set for a crowd of this size- Datagrama's first Tipper n Friends VJ set[ Tipper n Friends 2017 ]@detoxunit + @datagrama_visuals This is us quad-mixing 4 VJ signals, a collab between ATX installation homie Dom Davis, my cousin/Synesthesia dev Alex Rowe, and mastermind Joao Beira pulling it all together. And Detox Unit's set was so good---hard headnodders + somehow even harder chill. by @theronpray
