For the people who keep the business running
Operations • SOPs • Leadership
Rooted in Process. Built for Growth.
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Everyone talks about growth.

Few people talk about the systems required to sustain it.

Growth without structure creates unnecessary chaos.
Growth with clarity creates consistency.
Growth with systems creates freedom.

I believe strong operations are the foundation of every thriving business.

Most people see the attorney.

As Administrators we help build the systems that keep everything moving behind the scenes.

My journey started in healthcare administration, expanded into marketing and digital systems with a touch of modeling, and led me to law firm operations.

Today, I help create structure, accountability, and sustainable growth through better systems, clearer processes, and stronger team alignment.

If you love organization, leadership, and building things that last, we’ll probably get along.

Operations has taught me that success rarely comes from working harder.

It comes from building better.

My biggest lessons:

1️⃣ Clarity beats talent.
2️⃣ Systems beat memory.
3️⃣ Accountability creates freedom.
4️⃣ Communication prevents chaos.
5️⃣ Growth requires structure.

Good operations don’t just support the mission.

They multiply it.

Then I remembered that having room on my calendar doesn’t automatically mean I have room in my life.✨

I was talking to someone about this one day, just because it is “open” on your calendar does not mean that you have to fill it.

Those block that you have nothing to do can be blocked off for just you and whatever you want to do. Whether that is to do nothing, schedule out time to read your favorite book or maybe do a favorite hobby. These pocket of times are important. by @therootedops

5 ways business operations and motherhood are basically the same job 😂🌱

The more I grow in operations, the more I realize motherhood has been teaching me some of the same skills all along.

1. Systems make everything more manageable. Morning routines, bedtime routines, calendars, meal planning — just like business, our home runs better when there’s a process.

2. You’re always managing competing priorities. Everything may feel important, but everything can’t be the priority at the same time. You learn what needs your attention right now and what can wait.

3. Problem-solving becomes second nature. The plan WILL change. 😂 Lord this oh too well. Whether it’s a business issue or a last-minute mom situation, you learn to assess, adjust, and keep moving.

4. You learn to anticipate needs. Operations isn’t just responding to problems — it’s seeing them before they happen. Motherhood will definitely teach you to pack the snacks, bring the extra clothes, check the calendar, AND have a backup plan.

5. And probably one of the biggest i’ve learned early on. You cannot do everything yourself. Just because you can carry everything doesn’t mean you should. Good operations require delegation, support, communication, and knowing when to let someone else help.

Motherhood has taught me more about leadership, patience, adaptability, and operations than I probably give it credit for.

Whether your building systems for a business or creating structure for your family, the goal is actually pretty similar:

Create enough structure that there’s more room to enjoy what matters. 🤎🌱 by @therootedops

It’s okay to take time for you.

You deserve that same care and attention that you give to everything in your life.

Taking time for yourself is not selfish. Resting does not make you unproductive. Creating space to breathe does not mean you are neglecting your responsibilities.

You are allowed to pause.
You are allowed to refill your own cup.
You are allowed to enjoy a life that does not require you to constantly recover from it.

Take the time. You matter too. 🤎🌱 by @therootedops

Recently, I had a client call my office who was carrying a heavy burden. By the time we finished discussing the legal matter that brought us on the phone, I could still hear the weight in their voice. Before ending the call, I simply asked if I could pray with them.

I couldn’t bring myself to hang up knowing they felt so defeated.

The very next day, that same client called me back.

This time, their voice was different. There was joy where there had been discouragement. They shared that later that evening, they had received some incredible news.

As a believer, I have no doubt that prayer is powerful.

But this experience reminded me of something even deeper.

Sometimes the greatest service we can provide isn’t another email, another update, or another checklist.

Sometimes it’s making sure the person on the other end of the phone knows they’re not just another case file.

They’re a person.

Someone carrying fears, uncertainty, and hope.

Whether it’s through a listening ear, a word of encouragement, or a simple prayer, every interaction is an opportunity to remind someone that they are seen.

That’s what client experience means to me.

It’s not just about delivering a service.

It’s about caring for people throughout their journey and serving them.

Because long after clients forget the details of the process, they’ll remember how you made them feel.

And if they leave feeling heard, valued, and genuinely cared for…that’s the kind of experience worth striving for. by @therootedops

It's not about roles, it's about what we do together. Empowering teams to cross-train and support each other creates a stronger collective. #FromTheClassroomToTheCommunity #LawFirmAdmin #RootedOperations #Education #745Podcast by @therootedops

If you are the only person who knows how to complete a process, you don’t have a system—you have information living in your head.

And if your team constantly has to come to you for the same answers, that is not just a training issue. It is a red flag that an SOP may be missing.

Getting the process out of your head creates:

🌱 Clear expectations
🌱 Consistent results
🌱 Fewer repeated questions
🌱 Easier training and delegation
🌱 More room for you to lead

Your team cannot follow a process they cannot see.

Document it. Simplify it. Make it repeatable.

Because growth becomes difficult when everything still depends on you.

Support staff are often the backbone of an organization—and sometimes the most overlooked.

Before I worked in operations, I worked in customer service. That experience taught me that the people answering the phones, responding to concerns, managing expectations, and solving problems are doing more than completing tasks. They are shaping how people experience the entire organization.

Support staff are often the first voice a client hears, the person who catches what others miss, and the one working behind the scenes to keep everything moving.

Their work may not always be visible, but its impact is felt everywhere.

Consistency builds trust. My dad showed me this: tough love, but always felt. He’d tell it like it is, yet I always felt loved. True strength meets you where you are. #FromTheClassroomToTheCommunity #LawFirmAdmin #RootedOperations #Education #745Podcast by @therootedops
