This Friday and Saturday catch us at CCT Banjara Hills with Niloufar 🪷 by @therover

Here’s a look at Niloufar.
Dainty lotuses (an homage to Somkamal) with lotus stalks set in various forms to create some pretty pretty pieces for all you pretty people!

I sold out of most designs this weekend at Pili Taxi but I’ll be making a lot more soon.
Website launch of Niloufar might get delayed until production is completed, but until then, pick your favourites 💖

Help me clear out all my shelves as The Rover will soon go on an indefinite break 🤍🤍🤍 by @therover

Purchases of jewellery amongst other things, significantly drop during the monsoons. For the last decade, instead of fighting this lull in the business, I’ve chosen this perfect and favourite season of mine to travel for leisure. As a creature of habit I like going back to the same places over and over again, building relationships with my favourite haunts, exploring music, art and culture that is significant to me. Photography is a big passion along with a love for the natural world.

Over the years I’ve learned to prioritise what is meaningful to me as opposed to the box ticking of countries and places that the internet is so obsessed with. Travel needn’t be performative, however it does need to be personal. If you come back home feeling worse than when you left, what does that really achieve? I don’t like leaving home for prolonged periods of time. I miss my beautiful home, I miss my loving cats, I miss my family. I don’t book the next trip as soon as the current ends. I am simply happy being home, but I am also curious to find the next little glimmer that will help create a memory. Most people I know are travelling to escape something. The thing is that you can’t escape your own head no matter where you go so the sooner you realise that, the less performative you’ll be.

Here are some pieces of jewellery that always make it into my backpack. by @therover

I rarely post pictures of just myself. Usually it’s the kids and the dogs doing all the heavy lifting on this page — building the narrative. ( I must have deleted this post three times and then again posted it .. )

But every now and then, I become unnecessarily brave and post a picture of myself anyway. So hello to the people who’ve been around forever, and hello to the new people who probably arrived here accidentally.

I’m Divya. I live in Bangkok with two feral children and two indie dogs . I spend most of my time walking through obscure neighbourhoods.

Professionally, I’m a journalist, documentary producer, and last year I also wrote a book

Also love discovering Indian homegrown brands and wearing beautiful jewellery from @therover. Most days I look mildly homeless, but occasionally I transform — a little linen, a little bling, some coloured stones, and suddenly life feels manageable

Anyway, here is my annual evidence that I do, in fact, exist outside my children and dogs.

@rachanamahadimane exuding elegance and simplicity in layered Mariposa 🦋
As a designer/creator I look up to her recommendations in general, can’t tell you how many brands are in my wardrobe thanks to her constant discoveries

On the website (which is linked in bio) you can find the Mariposa bow tie choker and lariat necklaces along with Mariposa studs or Ixora studs that pair perfectly with it.

Can you tell that I got so obsessed with the Jaipur rings that I also made them into bangles?
We currently have Pink, white and turquoise in stock and will be making mother of pearl very soon 💖

Here’s a roundup of everything that came from the workshops recently.
