The Royal Oui are singer/songwriters Adrienne Pierce and Ari Rosenschein. Throughout two albums and several EPs, the duo have crafted a catalog of immaculate songs ranging from introspective folk to electronics-infused tracks, always with their warm harmonies and sharp hooks at the forefront.

Oui had a wonderful time at this Interactive Evening at @cocoalegato with @allisonpreisingermusic.

This was truly a show unlike any other. Our audience was engaged and creating art while we played our songs.

There was also encouragement, songs, and poetic inspiration from our host Allison, stellar DJ sets, and subtle, complex chocolate to sample.

The Royal Oui is singer/songwriters Adrienne Pierce and Ari Rosenschein. Throughout two albums and several EPs, the duo has crafted a catalog of songs ranging from introspective folk to electronics-infused tracks, always with their warm harmonies and sharp hooks at the forefront. Outlets like Rolling Stone and American Songwriter praised the Royal Oui’s past releases. Performer called the band’s sound “impassioned indie pop," while No Depression wrote, “The Royal Oui is able to make listeners feel true love.“ They have had dozens of songs in films and TV shows including Grey's Anatomy, Veronica Mars and Shameless, and have toured all over the US, Canada, and the UK. They have played everything from SXSW in Austin to Bergenfest in Norway and are very excited to be part of the Bushwick Book Club. @theroyalouiband

"We both read Station Eleven when it was first published and we were excited to find out it was a selection for this season's Bushwick Book Club. The two of us were curious to read the book again after actually going through a global pandemic.
