10 Years of The Running Elements
Day 14 Spotlight: JR Elements!

Talk about CUTE! 🥹💕 JR Elements was hands down the cutest run club we ever hosted!

Created by our daughters in 2017, JR Elements gave kids ages 8–12 the opportunity to experience the excitement of completing their very first 5K alongside a parent or adult.

For most years, we hosted 2–3 sessions annually, creating SO many unforgettable memories for kids and their families! From first-time finish lines to proud smiles and special moments shared along the way, JR Elements was about so much more than running. It was about confidence, connection, family, and showing kids that they can do hard things! ❤️

Rumor has it JR Elements might be making a comeback in 2027! We may just have to lace up those little running shoes again!

A HUGE thank-you to Heart of Volusia for always supporting our JR Elements initiatives and helping us make these special experiences possible. Your support has meant so much to us and the families we served! 💙

It’s time to show off that hard-earned bling!

As we celebrate 10 amazing years of The Running Elements, we want to see YOUR favorite race and event medals from the past decade! Whether it was your first 5K, a challenging half marathon, a muddy obstacle course, or an unforgettable event with friends, share the medals and memories that mean the most to you!

Post a picture of your favorite race or event medal from the last 10 years. We’ll select a few lucky participants to receive a FREE registration to our 10th Anniversary Party & Scavenger Hunt on October 24th!

🎉 10 YEARS OF THE RUNNING ELEMENTS! 🎉

This celebration is about so much more than running shoes. It’s about family, community, and the incredible people who have been part of our journey over the last decade.

This flyer? It was hand-drawn by Maria, one of our daughters. No AI. No shortcuts. Sent in a simple text from college to make her parents smile. Just a little creativity, a lot of heart, and a reminder of what makes a local, family-owned business so special.

For 10 years, you’ve supported our family, shared your miles and milestones with us, and helped make The Running Elements what it is today.

From our family to yours, THANK YOU for being part of our story. We wouldn’t be here without you, and we can’t wait to see everyone at the celebration party on Sat, Oct 24th.

Day 10 — 10 years in business has taught us a few things.

1. Everyone has a story.
2. You don't have to be fast to belong.
3. The right shoe can make a difference.
4. Some of the best friendships start on a run.
5. Kids remember the people who encouraged them.
6. Community matters.
7. Running isn't always about running.
8. Local businesses are built one relationship at a time.
9. Our customers are pretty amazing.
10. We wouldn't trade these 10 years for anything.

Thank you both for taking such great care of every person who walks through the door and making sure they leave with the rightpair of shoes. You truly are the bestest! ❤️
You’re also the coolest active grandparents and some of our favorite running buddies. And Patti… your baking deserves its own shoutout! 🍪 We ALL fight over cookie days! 😂
