i found a pole in Bali ❣️@poledance_ubud 🙏🏽 but the heat, humidity and no grip aid 🫠 meant major sliiide and sticking to familiar shapes. i’m approaching my one year pole anniversary in february and can see the nuanced progress i’ve made… not through checking off a list of tricks and contorting my 41-year old body into extreme shapes 😅 but by more fluidity, strength, intention, and economy of movement.
