Your feed is not designed to inform you. It’s designed to make you angry.

And for the people who care most about the world, that anger slowly turns into exhaustion, division and burnout.

For 15 years, every decision I made came from how I felt in the moment. I know where that road leads.

Next Monday, 2 November, I’m joining activist and author @anthealawsonuk for a three hour online gathering with the @thesanctuaryd7.

I’ll be sharing how to act from your values instead of your emotions. Anthea, who helped change the law on secret company ownership in dozens of countries, will share how to create real change without losing sight of each other.

Online, 10am to 1pm.

The Sanctuary presents an immersive online gathering with activist and author Anthea Lawson and neuroscientist Dr Brian Pennie. Inspired by the Sanctuary’s vision of ‘Nourishing Personal Growth for Greater Social Impact’ this offering aims to help us collectively explore:

How do we turn our values into action without losing touch with our humanity?

Who is this for?

This offering is directed at those who are working in the charity/NGO sector and/or passionate about making positive contributions to their community and feel stifled by the polarised political landscape as well as the detrimental impact of modern life on our connections and ability to focus.

‍📆Date and Time: Monday 2nd November 2026, 10am-1pm, Online

Ticket available to purchase through the link in bio 🙂

John speaking a little about his upcoming online course, 'Exploring the Inner House' in collaboration with the Sanctuary starting October 7th.

In a restless and fast-changing world, many feel the call to something deeper, a way of living that reconnects meaning, mindfulness, and the sacred.
This 10-week course invites participants into a grounded exploration of modern spirituality: an inclusive, experiential path of self-discovery and soul nourishment that speaks to contemporary life while honouring ancient wisdom.
