One side love story💖🌹

🎬The Revolutionaries is an historical period-drama series on Prime Video that brings to the screen a powerful and lesser-told chapter of India’s freedom struggle. Set in the years following the failed uprising of 1857, the series follows a group of young revolutionaries who refuse to accept British rule and choose the path of armed resistance in their pursuit of justice, liberty and freedom. Rather than focusing only on the familiar narrative of India’s independence movement, The Revolutionaries explores the courage, convictions, sacrifices and extraordinary determination of those young Indians who believed that revolution was essential to awakening a nation and challenging the British Raj. The series is adapted from Sanjeev Sanyal’s acclaimed book Revolutionaries: The Other Story of How India Won Its Freedom and is directed by Nikkhil Advani. It stars Rohit Saraf, Bhuvan Bam, Pratibha Ranta, Gurfateh Pirzada and Jason Shah in key roles, with the series being produced by Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani under Emmay Entertainment. Mounted on a grand scale and filmed across locations including Mumbai,

Amritsar, Varanasi and Dehradun, the show aims to recreate the atmosphere, intensity and danger of revolutionary India.

This scenes in edit is not own by me only the edit is own by me, so the scene credit goes to @primevideoin yt channel! with the official trailer expected to arrive on 26 August 2026.

🎬 : The Revolutionaries

Plot: Set during India’s freedom struggle. The Revolutionaries follows a group of young men and women who choose to dedicate their lives to the fight for independence. United by the dream of a free India, they face a world where courage, loyalty, friendship, and sacrifice are constantly tested. Their journey takes them through secret plans, difficult choices, personal struggles, and moments where they must put the country’s freedom above their own comfort and happiness. Alongside the larger historical movement, the series explores the emotional lives of these revolutionaries—their relationships, hopes, fears, and the bonds that give them strength. Inspired by real historical figures and events, The Revolutionaries brings attention to stories that are often overlooked while showing the human side behind the names written in history books. It is a powerful tale of courage, patriotism, resistance, and sacrifice, reminding us that India’s freedom was shaped by ordinary people who were willing to take extraordinary risks for a cause greater than themselves.

Casting: [Bhuvan Bam, Rohit Saraf, Pratibha Ranta, Gurfateh Pirzada]

Crew: Creator & Director: Nikkhil Advani Based on: Revolutionaries: The Other Story of How India Won Its Freedom by Sanjeev Sanyal Production: Emmay Entertainment Streaming: Prime Video

Trivia: The Revolutionaries is a historical drama inspired by Sanjeev Sanyal’s book and stories from India’s freedom movement. The series focuses on lesser-known revolutionaries and explores both their revolutionary activities and personal lives.
