Memory exactly 5 years ago I directed my first film. Still one of favorite shots I’ve ever lit and framed.

That’s the end of June…Up or down grateful always for the lessons on either side of the coin.

Blessed in so many ways with opportunities and beautiful people around me. God plan for me continues to unfold. This month…

I’m Grateful to have wrapped out by shooting a new show @crewcollaboration8 giving voices to below the line crew members and their life stories. Raw unfiltered and uncut.

I’m amazed and still bewildered I took my first actors headshots opening a new door for my artistic journey and never end quest to learn.

I learned that taking time away every now and then is needed. You can’t see the faces in the bleachers rooting for you when you’re always going 100mph and you sure as shit can’t keep it up for the long. Rest and recovery is important.

Since my back injury back in December I’ve made huge progress from being at a state where I couldn’t even walk for weeks. I’ve made tremendous progress and recently started squatting and training a bit more normally but still have a road of patience and diligent work ahead to be better than I was before the injury.

I continue to learn about myself and how navigate it all as we all do every month.

My problem is when I want something so bad sometimes I don’t know when to quit or lay off the gas for my own good.

I don’t realize how much I had in pursuit of what I want.

I think this is sometimes just default in some peoples nature and so sometimes you gotta just zoom out and see how blessed you are

Thankfully I’ve got some great people around me and some beautiful dreams for that I am grateful.
