So, at 52 after 30 odd years of life without competitive golf, I've decided to forge out a journey back to it. Wish me luck x

Unsupervised Adult money 😬.. I was just walking along and these SEXY @haitchgolf custom built on the Gold Coast clubs got in my way... they are absolutely gorgeous and the Stats are Statting...... keep swiping for a laugh 🤣... I am human... @vicegolf Pro Plus settling in well with their new counterparts and as always my @sent_golf hat keeping my head on... by @thesecondswing

A quick few holes and some chipping practice on Friday afternoon, blowing a gail, the gallery was noisy as!!! Old injuries don't like me carrying my clubs, but the @dintgolf bag at less than 2kg, makes it so easy. I can carry my full set and get through a round without needing a wheelchair and some hefty painkillers afterwards. I love walking and playing the game ❤️ the @vicegolf Pro Plus are loving my new wedges too. One of the locals having a swim too... so preeeettty... by @thesecondswing

Had a game on the Sim this week. Quail Hollow in North Carolina USA. Tidy 4 over, and definitely left some shots out there.😢 Maybe I can score a game on the real thing next year @boblanpher if it's close enough to your place 🤣🤣🤣. I may have to stand out the front with a sign begging 🤪🤪🤣 by @thesecondswing

Working with the new wedges. Its been surprising how much confidence they have given me over the ball. Just gotta keep building confidence with them ❤️. Jason Isbell keeping me company in the Sim today 🙌. 3rd pic is a funny spin rate I thought I'd share 🤣. by @thesecondswing

Some retail therapy today after some time in the sidelines with some sickness. Back in the SIM and dialing in the new 50 & 54 Taylormade MG5 Wedges...❤️ just what the doctor ordered 🙌🤣🤪 @vicegolf Pro Plus racking up the sweet numbers on the Trackman..❤️🌪🎯🧶 big love to @mjbond23 for giving me the skills to walk back in after a break and kick off where I left. by @thesecondswing

🏌️‍♂️ 1,500 FOLLOWERS! 🏌️‍♂️

WOW… THANK YOU! 🙏💙💚

When I started The Second Swing, the goal was simple — pick up the clubs again, chase a dream I walked away from nearly 30 years ago, and see if I could make it back to competitive golf.

I honestly had no idea where this journey would take me.

Now 1,500 of you have decided to come along for the ride.

Every follow.
Every like.
Every comment.
Every message.
Every bit of encouragement.

It genuinely means more than you know.

This journey hasn't been about pretending everything is perfect. There have been great shots, terrible shots, frustration, doubt, breakthroughs and plenty of days where I've questioned whether I can actually pull this off.

But that's what The Second Swing is all about.

Having another go.

It's about proving to myself that it's not too late to chase something that still matters.

And the ultimate goal hasn't changed…

🎯 Get to Scratch
🏆 Return to Amateur Competition and onto Senior Professional status
🔥 Give this dream everything I've got

We're only getting started.

Big love to my wife and family and friends for their unwavering support ❤️ and @mjbond23 for seeing me and believing this old boy still has some tricks.

To everyone who has followed from the beginning — thank you for believing in the journey.

To everyone who has joined recently — welcome to The Second Swing.

And to the 1,500 of you who have hit that follow button…

THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU. ❤️

Now let's see how far this second swing can go.

The best is still ahead. 🏌️‍♂️⛳

For a laugh, I asked Chat Gpt that with what it knew about me, to make a movie character/ poster of what would most suit its thoughts. It came up with this and Rocky Balboa hahahah.... I'll take it hahaha 🤣 by @thesecondswing

Wishing I could click my heels and go back to holiday time and take my @vicegolf Pro Plus balls with me. ❤️🌴🌴🌺🌺 by @thesecondswing

The awesome team @vicegolf have re-released the Vice Pro Prost ball, just in time for the celebrations of Oktoberfest!!!... I took the ball out this afternoon for a few holes (I even dressed like a beer). What a great performing ball, even after all the beer 🤣🤣🤣. Make sure you jump online and grab yourself a slab of them before they sell out... Don't forget to use THESECONDSWING when you checkout ❤️ and I hope you all have a wonderful Oktoberfest #vicegolf #viceprost #viceprostbeer #viceoktoberfest by @thesecondswing
