- working on the project moved a new part saving user info in the backend

This is the part which is a little bit new to me and I want to learn more about it

Also learnt about get and post requests read some docs of mongo db

Also a little bit busy with other things in life I'm still trying my best to be consistent also I will post the update or not

I do my daily stuff like applying to jobs posting learning at least for a little bit 💯

That's all for today 😁

Peace 🕊️

Day 10

Updates ⬇️

-> Major problem which I was facing in the project
Was finally solved

It was related to the clerk the auth service I am using in the project

The way I was able to solve are

Like upgrading the whole npm packages 📦 which were already installed

Upgrading the next version

Restarting local server

And when I tried the problem was gone 😮‍💨

Now I'm going to watch some videos on the DSA and then call it for the day

That's all for today 😀

Peace 🕊️

Day 09

Updates ⬇️

So I started watching videos on DSA with javascript

Then I solved some problems in the project

When I was signing in the app I wanted to user to go on the /home route

But by default the clerk was sending user on the /

But after some Google search 🔍 I was able to find a solution for that which was

Clerk gives option to set where to move the user after login

This you can see on the doc part setting up clerk with next js

So that problem was solved

Others have come up will work on that 😉

That's all for today 🙂

Day 8

Updates ⏫

Last Friday I got an mail from company
Where I have applied few week ago for an frontend intern role

I got excited and booked the recent slot with the HR for the first round

The interview went well then I received an assessment for the next round which was a project
And they gave 5 days deadline for that

I also was able to make the project and submit in 4 days

Still after the weekend and some follow up mail

I got an unfortunate email saying we are moving ahead with other candidates

Although I know rejections are part of hiring process but still
As I moved to second round I was at least expecting a small feedback which would help me in my job hunt

And the main thing which hurt me was
Am I not capable of getting an internship at least ?😢

But after some thinking and improvement I am back on track with my updates

Hopefully there will be some new opportunities soon 😉

Project updates

resuming the project where I left it facing some bugs with login routing

Also start learning watching DSA video playlist to get grasp of DSA which would benefit me in the interview hopefully ☺️

That's all for today 😺

Thanks for reading

Day 07

Updates ⬇️

So last time I was stuck on a bug and I was not able to find out clearly what is causing the bug to happen
Is it next js is it clerk is it shadcn ui 🪲

So after all and seeing the less or small progress of my project I decided to restart the front end

Set-up it again and after doing that the bug was resolved
The bug which I was facing yesterday is resolved

So after setting up the clerk login system

I just faced something new which is related to routes
Like when I login into my app It should take the user to
/Home route but instead it keeps the user on /

I need to figure out this now 😉

And about the introductory interview got no response of the thank you email I have sent
I think It might not have worked out this time

No problem I have moved ahead and applied to new opening plus one more site

Let's hope for the best

That's all for today 🙂

Day 06

Updates

Was busy in the afternoon

So I worked on the project a little late in the evening

Still hunting that bug 🪲

The conclusion which I came across today is that

It's regarding the button module not imported and I found out that I am using shdcn
Previously I was trying to solve it using tailwind in my

Search for bugs and solutions but I tried including shdcn
I installed that package to resolve the issue

But it's still occurring

Going to find out more about it

That's all for today

Also about that introductory interview
Not got any email on the further steps

So I sent out an thanks email for the previous interview
As a gesture 🙌🏻

Let's see if I get anything about it 😁

Day 05

Updates

So was stuck on a bug 🪲

Last time it was regarding the routes

When setting up clerk sign in and sign up system

It was throwing an error

I think today I resolved that

But got another bug

It comes up whenever I run a dev environment

It shows the module not found I tried setting up the module on my own but whenever I restart the server it again hits in a different file

So that's the main problem now to resolve

Also had an introductory interview with an company 👨🏻‍💼

If I get any further response from them will update here ✅

That's all for today 🐱

Day 4

Updates

So picked up straight from where left
After understanding the flow and setup of the project

Straight moved to authentication
In this tutorial I am using clerk tool

And after knowing about it

I was just amazed 🤯

How easy it was to setup in your project
And for a beginner project and quick MVP it's really great

After that read it's docs and got a little bit more of it

And again the things it offers are really great like Google login GitHub login login with phone Just amazing

Just used in my project it was working fine
But while creating my custom pages for sign and sign up

It started giving errors
Will solve those bugs and move ahead

That's all for today 🙂

Updates

Moved forward in the project

Set-up the back-end today revised about mongodb read it's documentation

Also connected the db with my next js frontend project

And learnt more about it

Also understood the flow of the app

And the backend thought the video

And after that saw some postings so applied to them ✌🏻

That's all for now

Will do the interview preparation also after this

Before calling out for the day 😊
