This is a one woman institution so clearly no glam team involved 😭 I love my workshops but they do have me doing the weirdest things like scrubbing 30 lil cuties but it’s worth it for this collaboration with @houseofbrookesy

Little BTS on all the micro decisions that go into creating a collection! Not all bias bindings are made equal; I told myself I wouldn’t cut corners on my collection and WOULD NOT choose the polyester option because it’s cheaper and easily accessible.

@kleins_haberdashery have been a god send for my collection! They have sooo many sustainable options and you don’t feel limited at all. by @thesewcialedit

So happy with my signs! It took me ages to land on some branding but this defo feels the most me 💖

After hosting more sashiko workshops than I can count I finally have some completed examples!

Love this piece and definitely want to finish it! Might be in a few months though 🤣

Behind the scenes of my MA fabric development! I decided to custom dye some more fabric using dyrect dye rather than natural as the outcomes are much more predictable and vibrant which contrast the paler natural dyes so well!

Takes a lot of maths to get the dye right but so worth it! Also trying some screenprinting for the background of my beading! by @thesewcialedit

Help Wanted!

Hi guys, I’m looking for some interns over the summer to help me with finalising my MA collection! Although the internship is unpaid, I am more than happy to support you in developing your own work and collections as I have experience in pattern cutting and various textile techniques.

It’s also a great opportunity to gain experience in developing a sustainable textile business and running and hosting creative exhibits and events! Any assistance with TSE workshops will be PAID!
