18 days until Sat, 10/24/26, when 15 Shoegaze and Dreampop bands land their spaceships on the stage(s) over @pianosnyc in NYC (LES) for the 3 day NYC @ihaveadreampop takeover. One of those fantastic bands is @theshininghours

The Shining Hours is a New York–based shoegaze band blending dreamy vocals, swirling guitars, and lush atmospherics inspired by pioneers like My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive. Formed in 2021, they craft immersive soundscapes that balance ethereal melodies with raw emotional depth, exploring themes of longing and human connection. With releases including their Moment EP and a reputation for captivating live shows, The Shining Hours have quickly become one of New York’s most exciting emerging acts, resonating with fans of shoegaze and dream pop. taken in New York City by @theshininghours
