Struggling to get your research published? 📝 Break the overwhelming process down into these manageable steps. A clear question leads to clear research! Which step of the funnel is the hardest for you? Let's discuss in the comments! 👇 #ThesisWriting #ResearchTips #GradSchool #Academia by @thesis.helpdesk

Does writing your methodology chapter make you want to cry? (Pun intended 🧅) 😅

If you are staring at a blank screen trying to figure out the difference between "Positivism" and "Pragmatism," you are not alone. Methodology paralysis is one of the biggest reasons PhD and Master's students stall on their dissertations.

💡 The Expert Tip: Stop trying to write your survey or interview questions first! Use the Research Onion framework to work from the outside in.

1️⃣ First, define your outer layer (Philosophy: How do you view the world?)
2️⃣ Second, choose your approach (Deductive or Inductive?)
3️⃣ Keep peeling back the layers step-by-step until you finally reach the center: your actual data collection methods.

If you are still stuck between layers and your advisor's feedback isn't helping, we get it. We have walked this path with thousands of scholars across the US, Canada, the UK, and beyond.

If you'd like to talk it through with one of our academic experts, they're available 24/7 and it's completely free — just message us on WhatsApp: +9192032 46303
