1,000,000 miles on the job.

Over the years, we've seen a lot of projects come and go, worked alongside some great people, and put in more miles between jobsites than we could ever keep track of.

This truck has been along for a whole lot of it, and recently reached a milestone you don't see every day: one million miles.

It's one of those things that makes you look back and realize just how many years of work have gone into building Thesis into what it is today.

Not every company milestone comes with a ribbon-cutting. Sometimes it's a muddy truck with a million miles on it. by @thesispainting

The details make the room.

At PROOF Kitchen + Bar, wallpaper adds warmth and character to this intimate dining space. Its subtle pattern complements the dark trim, statement lighting, and rich finishes, creating a refined backdrop that brings the entire room together.

One space makes the spirits. The other serves them.

MurLarkey Distilled Spirits, LLC brings the industrial edge. Proof Kitchen + Bar carries a warmer, more refined feel.

Two neighboring spaces with distinct identities, each finished to fit the experience.

Some spaces are defined by what's in them. Others by how they make you feel.

At Proof Kitchen + Bar, the walls are part of that experience.

Using a specialty finish from Portola Paints, we worked to bring depth, movement and texture into the space, a finish that changes subtly with the light and gives the room a character traditional paint simply can't replicate.

It's one of those details you might not immediately notice. But you'd notice if it wasn't there. A look at the finish behind the atmosphere at Proof Kitchen + Bar.

A look around MurLarkey Distilled Spirits.

From the production floor to the barrel room, this project brings together clean finishes, industrial details, and plenty of character throughout the space.

The finished space gets the attention. The work behind it is what gets it there.

Crews moving, details getting dialed in, finishes taking shape. Another commercial project coming down the home stretch.

On a busy jobsite, waiting your turn is not always an option.

We like getting primer on the walls early, while framing, electrical, mechanical and the other trades are still working around us.

It takes coordination, flexibility and a crew that understands the bigger picture. The GC has a schedule to keep, and our goal is to make sure painting never becomes the reason it falls behind.

KEEP THE JOB MOVING!

Before Thesis had jobsites like the ones we work on today, it had a basement.

Petros remembers riding to jobs with his dad, sweeping floors for no pay, and watching his parents build the company out of their townhome.

More than 30 years later, a lot has changed.

But the humility, work ethic, and appreciation for where it all started haven’t.

Petros didn’t just grow up around Thesis.

He grew up with it.

Nothing like having the whole peanut gallery watching while you get mic’d up. 😂

Petros was getting plenty of commentary from the sidelines while he got ready to film.

Everyone was having a good time… right up until we told them they were next.

Suddenly everyone had work to do. 😂
