What you can expect from this: Here and Now is not a typical improv workshop. Most people associate improv with speed, wit, and jokes. This workshop strips all of that back 🥳 At its core, ‘Here and Now’ is about one thing: being fully alive in this moment: in your body, with your breath, with the people around you, and with whatever you`re feeling, right now, without apology 🌸 Through guided meditations, body and breath work, and structured scene exercises, we`ll explore how silence can be more powerful than dialogue. How what you don`t say, how you listen, and how you receive someone else, brings out a space where the real magic lives 🪄 This workshop is specifically designed around a central principle: More Presence, Less Performance. Every exercise is designed so that you support each other. There are no wrong choices here. The room will be a safe, playful, and warmly held space from start to finish 🫂 Book your spot now! YesN'Done Improv is an ensemble of the wittiest of dimwits who have been learning, performing, and teaching improvised theatre for collectively more than 8 years. Attend any event individually, or both as part of a shared pass (at a discounted price 😉), and you will walk away with the ability to stay present, provide authentic inputs, listen attentively, lots of fun-filled memories, newfound friendships, and much more! Traversing through unfamiliar and familiar territories, you will get to explore how wonderfully spontaneous your mind already is - all it needs is a safe space to play. This weekend, we are bringing some of our favourite tools that can help enrich scenework and strengthen the narrative of ANY live performance art; you don't wanna miss this. DM us for more details or to ask anything about improv Bookings open till Friday. See you there! Warm Rgds @yesndone in collaboration with @studiostarmakers and @openframe_improvdelhi by @theskillednoob

Day 1 of @robinhoodimprov fest - The Bug Cafe ensemble meets and rehearses under the guidance of the wonderful @jesssssimprov duo, followed by the opening night show and jam (Cover and last picture captured by @jonathan.nguyen.37 ) A huge shout out to The Jess’s’s’s’ for being an absolute delight to work with! The whimsical and child-like nature of their personalities and teaching style really resonated with me, bringing out joy and wonder which I thought was long gone (now it has resurfaced and is here to stay). These two are absolute QUEENS!!! @jesskeithnow @ultrajessamyn - Thank you for being who you both are. We have got to meet and work together again, and this time we will get more pictures clicked together for sure 😤 It blows my mind how in sync all of us bugs were, right from the get-go 🤯 it never felt like we were meeting for the first time. I’m absolutely in awe of @mrubine ‘s sharp wit and quickness; @laurieowenmakes ‘s excellent world building and ability to add depth to every scene; @kaspars.silavs ‘s punchlines and use of body language; @ditanitisa ‘s various voices, character choices, and zeal to just jump into a scene even if she has no clue about what she will do; and Benedetta’s commitment to any and every bit. We be flocking and complementing each other like crazy Ready to face any challenge that comes our way 😤 Btw, our show was on Day 4 so stay tuned for pictures of us in action! Vibes before the festival kicks-off, people mingling and getting ready for the opening night Cameo by @harvatronics @liamhwebber , @lloydiejl , and @aree2d2 address the crowd Performing at the opening night jam! by @theskillednoob
I’m undertaking the task to chronicle what went down on each day of my time at @robinhoodimprov this year, and ofc we gotta start at 0! (Aryabhatta didn’t die for nothing) Pebble painted by @ennajric 🫰🏽(this is the logo of the festival) Headed into town with @redsheepofthefamily Spotted this vape store with a fully unique+original name and branding, if you can spot any similarity to an existing brand then it must surely be coincidental Believe it or not, this is a school building 😭 (obv only the rich kids go here) Getting closer to town Hello Council House! (The term ‘city hall’ is just too peasantry for the city of Nottingham) Fell in love with English breakfast 🤤 You’re looking at vegan sausages, hash browns, baked beans, sunflower spread for the toasts, tomatoes, and roasted mushrooms! (Plus a coffee cup that is empty here after my 3rd refill) Pairi pauna to Robin Hood Ji, as is customary to Indian values @harvatronics and @ennajric join us for lunch! The fun has begun to get funner by the moment Meet me at the left lion? We understand the assignment 😌 The doppelgängers of Nottingham (in descending order of similarities) Already formed a band by the end of afternoon, right in the heart of “Council House” The church that was, or the pub that is Robin hood again! Fondling some sandstone, as is customary to Nottingham values 📸 by @harvatronics @redsheepofthefamily left us early Totally innocent looking chameleon, accompanied by an alien advocating for world peace Goodnight for now by @theskillednoob
