A very humbling turnout for such a brilliant man. Standing room only. Shame the saddest occasions bring together brilliant people whom not seen for years. Rest well Anthony Major and thanks for everything. by @theslimref

Happy birthday to the wonderful Holly Campbell

Another year around the planet and still looks 39 thanks to the pickling effects of wine gin and other beverages

You’re my rock my best supporter and my inspiration to continue to try and be the best version of myself everyday.

Looking forward to a fab day together by @theslimref

So a random idea last year. Then from not able to run at all through to completing couch to 5k and a few parkruns later… I only went and did my maiden 10km Worcester City Run

I had a goal deep down of 1:30. Crept over it by 30secs yep 30 bloody seconds and that was spotifys fault!

When I saw Holly Campbell at the finish line I’ll admit I cried. A lot. Why? Yeah a lot for the root cause which was for dad whose anniversary is Wednesday. But also relief and the overwhelming feeling of some brilliant humans - my Worcester family in my life. Those that came to the course to give me the biggest cheers ever even in the rain or those that gave me countless moments of support whilst away this weekend too.

Then the donations!!! I’ve raised over £1500 for the brilliant The Cancer Club wowsers ❤️

Some other thank yous. Katy Dando for all the inspiration challenges and check ins throughout the year. Gareth Roberts for getting me involved with parkrun and trying to encourage me in a niche Welsh way. Richard Husband for keeping me relaxed pre race. Holly for being the best supporter ever and putting up with my paddies, negativity and getting me through it with her love. Claire Forrester for giving me a top with dad’s handwriting on. Martin Kristiansen Hayes for putting up with the event during his UK visit with my godson. And anyone else who believed in me.

Only just starting to sink in. Wow

Oh and then he entered 2027 with a target of sub one hour. Melt… by @theslimref

In love… the amazing @forresterclaire_84 has helped provide my running top for my @worcestercityrun 10k retirement party next weeks. Complete with the great charity @the_cancer_club I’m running for, just seeing my dad’s handwriting to have him with me means the world.

Still collecting donations!
