A year ago after the first Slide Sway in LA and celebrating the best birthday I’ve ever had at Disneyland, I told my best friends how much I missed this feeling. We started practicing again, wrote and recorded a new album, and then flew to New York to play a show. Thank you to everyone who helped us get here. Thank you to all the bands who played. Thank you for letting us sleep on your floors. Thank you for always checking in. Thank you for driving. Thank you for carrying all those boxes. Thank you for the treats. Thank you for the food. Thank you for the drinks. Thank you for the flowers. Thank you for the hugs. Thank you for the love. Thank you for taking photos. Thank you for filming. Thank you for standing in line. Thank you for flying out. Thank you for buying our records. Thank you for singing along. Thank you for sharing your stories. Thank you for getting the swirl tattoo’d. Thank you for shouting out “free whirl”. Thank you for being there. Thank you for caring. Thank you for being patient. Thank you for keeping this safe. Thank you for letting me be vulnerable. Thank you for keeping secrets. Thank you for listening. Thank you for being you. Thank you for noticing, knowing, and understanding that Whirr is truly just five best friends from Modesto, CA who got lucky. It still doesn’t feel real. Enjoy everything. @brianrbusch @zactez @bandofnothing @supmariss @adriancastillo @cam.smith @alvincarrillo @_bennjji @brianscole @daddywasnttherepeace @cradle2grave._ @darkchildnatnat @theefuneralparty @lvsterband @cloakroomisafuckinband @clique.lhf And to anyone else I may have forgot, you know who you are. Thank you to all of our loved ones, families, friends, and crew. by @thesmithsgrind

Not only is Luster an incredible band, but they see the world the same way we do. Calling them our friends is an understatement. I’m grateful we got to share our thoughts and ideas and create something we’re all proud of. But any excuse to hang out, really. by @thesmithsgrind
