EXACTLY one year ago today, I announced I was launching something very special… and that little idea has grown into what it is now - @thesobergaysocials 🥹🤍 A place where I host monthly socials for the sober and sober-curious gays of London, bringing people together through one common thread. In just 12 months, I’ve met some truly beautifuuuuuul people through these socials, some who I know will be friends for life. I’ve grown into a community of 23k across the platform, which is honestly MAD to me?! 🥹 what brings me the most joy isn’t the numbers. It’s seeing people meet, connect and build friendships through these socials. Knowing that something I created has helped other people find their people means SO MUCH. I’ll be honest, I selfishly started this because I wanted to make more sober friends in London. We all know how hard that can be right?? I never imagined it would grow into what it is today, and I’m so excited to see where the next year takes us!!! sooooo if there’s something you’ve been sitting on, an idea you can’t stop thinking about, or something you’ve always wanted to try, let this be your sign to JUST GO FOR IT. You genuinely never know where it might take you. A huge thank you to all the brands I’ve collaborated with over the past year for helping me bring some of these ideas to life and making some really cool things happen. And, of course, thank YOUUUU to every single person who has come along to a social, supported the page or helped make this community what it is today. BIG HUGSSSSS Siôn by @thesobergaysocials
