SeriesFest, you were an absolute dream! @randikleiner, @kailymorgansmith, @fclairetaylor, and the entire programming, staff, and volunteer teams - thank you thank you for building and nurturing such a supportive environment for the independent TV community. From the insightful panels, to the inspiring films, to the super fun parties, @seriesfest was a 10/10.

@birthisfor also had the incredible honor of taking home three awards - the Audience Award for Best Digital Short, the Outstanding Series Format Deck Presented by @canva Award, and Honorable Mention Ensemble Performance. @sxsw with @birthisfor . An absolute dream come true. @lclags and I are immensely proud to have been a part of such a meaningful project alongside the most gifted cast and crew, lead by the inimitable @hannah__shealy and @celine__sutter . And for it to have resonated with audiences in the way that it did is the cherry on top of the sweetest sundae I’ve ever tasted.

It wasn’t all that long ago that I was feeling so down and deflated with the state of my career and the industry that I was asking myself “what if this whole film thing just isn’t going to work out for me?” And now I’m sitting here looking through all the incredible new friendships and memories I made at SX, realizing that all my dreams really can come true.
