🎸 ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: THE SPACE WIZARDS
THE SPACE WIZARDS are a dynamic three-piece bluesy psychedelic rock
band that blends raw guitar riffs, deep bass grooves, and trippy rhythms into an
unforgettable sonic journey. Formed by Will Munroe, Khaled Belabbas, and Aron Boutin, the band fuses elements of classic blues with modern psychedelia. Will’s soulful vocals and scorching guitar work, paired with Khaled’s steady, intricate basslines and Aron’s hypnotic drumming, create a sound that’s both gritty and otherworldly. With a passion for improvisation and experimentation, The Space Wizards have carved out a niche for themselves, delivering high-energy performances that transport audiences to far-off realms.
Their music is an exploration of sound, emotion, and the boundless possibilities of
rock, leaving listeners craving more with every note...

We're excited to have them at Gussapolooza 2026!

As many people I could fit into the frame + 1/4 of @le.grand.fil on the right from @casadelpopolo2 last night🙏🏻 you're all so awesome and I feel really privileged to still be doing this. I can never seem to express enough gratitude that any of you would spend your minutes listening to me. I thank you with every breath.

July 2026 marks 10 years of deciding, "maybe I could sing my own songs." The name The Space Wizards had been in my back pocket for a few years already as I worked for others and their music.

July 2016 I created a Facebook page, seeing no band existed with that name. I could feel a churning and a need, what was before a nice idea but maybe just fanciful, became the track to my life.

From the bush parties of Eastern Canada to the Club Sodas and Dundas Squares, my old guitar, words and boots have felt and left their prints.

I may not see the best in the bright lights but every now and then I catch a glimpse of the truly free, the happy, those on the run in the name of fun, the strong, the survivors, the tender under the callous.

I am so incredibly privileged to struggle for this.

Thank you for allowing me a beating heart that sees. It is through you and you alone this life has earned its meaning-- at least on my account.

I'll see you all again soon.
