Welp, the spooky season germs finally caught up with me. 🤧👻

I've been sick since Sunday, and whatever this bug is, it has officially knocked me on my butt. Between the exhaustion, congestion, and a throat that feels like sandpaper, I've been spending a lot of time resting and recovering.

So I'm taking a few days to rest, recharge, and hopefully get my voice back.

I'll be back soon with more spooky history, folklore, and paranormal goodness! 🎃🖤

In the meantime, stay spooky (and healthy) out there! 👻

Rule 1 of Samhain: if the corpse asks you for a drink, maybe just go home. 💀

You probably know me as the person who talks about ghosts, folklore, haunted history, and all things spooky.

But when I’m not digging through old legends, researching weird history, writing books, or making videos about dead people…I’m usually picking up really heavy things and putting them back down.

I fell in love with powerlifting a few years ago, and it’s become one of the things that keeps me grounded and balanced, especially when so much of my life involves living inside my own brain.

I’ve also been working my way back after a knee injury took me out for a bit, so getting under the bar again has felt REALLY good.

In this video: Second set of 3 reps of deadlifts at 205 lbs. 💪

Believe it or not, investigating/researching ghosts and lifting heavy stuff is surprisingly complementary hobbies. 👻🏋️

The biggest surprise? Most paranormal investigators don't carry one.

One of the founders of modern paranormal investigation amd researcg wasn't a ghost hunter... it was a brilliant woman and mathematician dedicated to good research.
