I’m still in love with the adorable silver hearts my Hoya lacunosa ‘Silver’ from @crystalstarnursery is full of.

I love the minty silver colouring of the leaves. I find it so refreshing to look at if that makes sense 😅.

I know there’s lots of talk and confusion about the difference (and if there’s a difference) between lacunosa and khrohniana but I’m going off the idenfication from @crystalstarnursery which I trust 😊.

Have a great weekend everyone 🌱🤗!

It took a while but look who decided to bloom in time for #waxplantwednesday ✨.

It’s my Hoya potsii 😍. I’m happy that I was finally able to catch the blooming process! I was worried it would bloom during the night when all the lights were off! .

Have a great Wednesday everyone 🌱🤗

When this Hoya wayetii ‘Variegata’ from @crystalstarnursery gets a good amount of light it puts on the most beautiful sun blushed show ☺️.

In addition to the pink, the leaves also develop the most intense almost black edges. The contrast is stunning ✨.

Happy #waxplantwednesday everyone 🤗.

Happy Wednesday! 🌿

I’ve got some new buds developing on one of my Hoyas! 🥹 Any guesses which Hoya these adorable little buds belong to?

I know which one it is, but thought it would be fun to see if anyone can guess! 😊 by @thesproutingbotanist

Happy Friday everyone! 🌱

Some silver leaves for this Friday on my Hoya lacunosa ‘Silver’. I used to have it growing under bright light which made the leaves go almost exclusively silver. But now I have it under medium light which has brought back some green speckling on the leaves. I can’t decide what I like more, but I do enjoy the uniqueness of each individual leaf 😍.

I haven’t posted for so long I’m questioning if hashtag days are still a thing. Are they?

Here I go anyway 🫣.

For #tinyplanttuesday here’s a jewel orchid I can’t believe I’ve never posted about! It’s my Anoectochilus Roxburghii Variegated that I have growing in my paludarium. I love the marbled variegation and glittery lightening like veins.

I’ve been a little MIA for a while because this past summer has been SO busy! I hope everyone has been doing well! 🌱

I haven’t had nearly as much time for my plants lately, and even less time to actually take photos of them. But every now and then, your plants have a way of reminding you to slow down, stop for a moment, and appreciate them. 💚

Some of my Hoyas have been looking especially beautiful lately, and I just had to stop and take some pictures.

One of them is my Hoya verticillata ‘Variegata’, which completely surprised me by putting out four umbels blooming at the same time! 🥹🌸

I just realized I never posted the open blooms of my Pearcea hypocyrtiflora. They’re so quirky and whimsical like something from Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory 🧡.

Have a great week all 🌱🤗.

Loving these blooms on my Lillac “Beauty of Moscow” (Syringa vulgaris ‘Krasavitsa Moskvy’).

The double blooms really remind me of jasmine blooms and are just as fragrant!

Have a great weekend everyone 🌱🤗.

Thought I would share an update on my paludarium since it’s been a while!

It’s been really nice letting it do its own thing. I pretty much just trim the plants now and then and if there’s space replant the stems. The jewel orchids from @roehamptonorchids have been happily spreading around this way which is so nice to see!

I still find myself looking at the plants, fish and shrimp all the time! It’s been great for stressful days at work 😅.

Hope everyone is having or had a good weekend 🌱🤗
