🪂Fresh Review Drop🪂
Jamal Gasol & The Standouts – Without Further Ado

Jamal Gasol & The Standouts just dropped Without Further Ado, and it might be his best work yet. 🎧🔥

Blending smooth jazz with gritty aggression, this 11-track, 30-minute album is a masterclass in authenticity. Tracks like “7 Or Better” and “Trapaholic Standout” are absolute gems.

Rating: 9/10. If you haven’t checked it out since his 2025 Rising Stars debut, now is the time. 🚀 by @thestandouts_

Been a fan and enjoying the music for a while! @whoisjamalgasol really can rap man and it’s very informative and witty. A lot of experience along with motivation in the gumbo of street rap. We salute this kinda of music and the sound is perfect backdrop cooked by the @thestandouts_ who been a force in this wave for years and apart of the foundational sound we enjoy today. If u not familiar with these gentlemen, today is the damn day!

Jamal Gasol has been an MC I’ve been keeping up with since 2025s You Not Like That. And in that time he’s dropped multiple projects I’ve held high, and made my 2025 Rising Stars group. Back with his second project this year, Without Further Ado. This time he’s teamed up with The Standouts for production and it’s a match that worked very well!
.
I won’t beat around the bush, this might be the best Jamal Gasol album I’ve heard. At least top 2 or 3. The balance of smooth, jazzy beats with darker more aggressive production really created a great balance for me. Both styles Jamal Gasol sounds great on, and shined bright here. And through them all as always, Jamal brings authenticity from his life and lays it on every track.
.
If you know Jamal Gasol you know some of his story to one extent or another, and understand what he says is birthed in truth. Speaking on tales of getting money, doing work, making enemies and overcoming it all. Songs like Dramatic Birds, 7 Or Better and Trapaholic Standout all bring that to the forefront, to name just a few. Keeping limited features, but both Con$piracy and Eddie Kaine delivered for Jamal. Elevating the tracks they were on respectively to be two of my favorites.
.
This is a 30 minute album across 11 songs, and everything works from start to finish. One of Jamal Gasols best works I’ve heard, but I know I still have catching up to do. Regardless, my confidence in making Jamal Gasol a Rising Star in 2025 holds strong, and if you’re new to Jamal then this is a great spot to tune in for the first time!
