We’ve barely recovered from the World Cup, but England are back and so are our plans to spend 90 minutes cheering at the screen with a pint in hand.

Showing England v Spain, the UEFA Nations League, on Saturday 26th September at 7:45pm.

Round up the squad and get ready for all the pints, a unified love for the game, and completely unbiased refereeing opinions you’d expect from watching England down the pub. Football, best watched at your local.

Tables won’t hang about, be sure to book yours now through our website (link in bio).

A great quiz night in North London @thestartinggate_ with some new teams and a couple of regulars competing for the £50 bar tab. Debutants ‘Fault-J’ breezed the competition aside with a commanding score of over 100 to take the tab!

Our last-place team ‘Methane’ were masters of efficiency. They only needed one correct question, and that was the jackpot question. They didn’t pick the right envelope tonight, unless they preferred a bottle of wine.. in which case they nailed it!

Same again next Monday, Wood Green! Book a table ready for 7:30 kick-off. by @thestartinggate_

Another fun week @thestartinggate_ with a mix of teams battling for the bar tab. Team ‘Lucky 7’ edged past ‘Unfortunate Bulls’ (talk about nominative determinism) by only 2 points - after taking the deduction for their larger team size!

They also proved to be very lucky indeed in getting just a wee bit closer to the jackpot answer than debutants ‘Lumo’ to win.. a bottle of wine. That’s back-to-back double wins for our septet formerly known as the ‘Pathoholics’!

The jackpot rolls over to next week. Will it be won then? Can ‘Lucky 7’ be beaten? Will we find out what team ‘We Used to Be…’ .. used to be?!

See you next Monday, North London! We kick off at 7:30 every Monday, but book for 7. The early bird catches the.. extra time with the all-important picture questions! by @thestartinggate_

Forget panic-buying something they'll never use. Buy them what they actually want... a proper excuse to head to the pub. Spend £30 on a gift card and we’ll knock 20% off. That's what we call money well spent.

Head to the 'Whats On' section of our website, click on the gift card offer, and use code Castle20 to redeem your offer.

Offer available between 20th July and the 1st August.
