I am Shreyaa, the face behind The Still Studio- a Bangalore-based food, product and lifestyle photography studio working with brands across India and worldwide. 📈 5 years ago, I left behind a career as a Chartered Accountant to follow my calling: creativity. 🌸 My passion for food, aesthetics, and stories led me to start the studio, where we create banger content that puts a spotlight on your brand. 🎥 We’ve worked with brands like MTR, Sprig, Sonata watches, Dettol, and ClayCo Cosmetics, who come to us for that sweet mix of strong creative direction and sharp execution. 🎨 I obsess over details-light, colour, mood, story-and bring a writer‘s depth into visuals that feel real not staged. 💡Most shoot days, you’ll find me styling, shooting, giving directions, tweaking lighting, and laughing hard between takes (Slide 👀). One packet of pretzels. And too much excitement to contain. Most of that time isn’t the shot. It’s everything before it: building the set, moving the light, turning the packet a few millimetres, fixing one crumb at a time, getting that perfect crinkle on packet until the drama feels right. That’s what product photography really looks like for a packaged food brand. Small fixes that nobody notices, but everybody feels when they scroll past. Payana, a cloud Bangalore bakery that bakes to order, came to us not knowing what to expect from a shoot. Great bakes, but no clear picture of how they wanted them to look. So we started there. Lots of questions, a moodboard built together, and a food photography shoot planned around what their bakes needed to say. This is Chandana and Ananya, the founders of Payana, sharing their experience in their own words. 🤍 To every home baker and small food business in Bangalore building something of their own: you don’t need it all figured out before your first shoot. That chocolate drip? Real. The motion? AI. I shot the photo, then let AI animate it. Everything you’re actually looking at, the light, the styling, how it’s held, the whole concept was built before AI ever touched it. All it did was extend what was already there. The real question here is can AI bring personality to your content? Can an AI content help you build trust with your audience? It really can’t. It still needs someone to tell it what to build on, otherwise you just get another photo or video with no personality. Good content isn’t about getting perfect looking content. Instead, it is the one that carries the messiness of it all. Because honestly, reality is the only thing your audience will connect to. They need to know what they’re seeing is what they are buying too. You might save money by using AI, but think how much sales you are losing by showing fake content to your customers. It is never about the big budget, but always about the big idea. What do you think about this?
