Perhaps it's been the heat, but I seem to have lost a bit of dolly momentum just recently, but did find time to repaint and rebody a pretty Barbie as I just loved her hair. I also gave her lashes and as she looks quite happy about it all!

Sindy joined the army civil engineering team to work with a theodolite and plumb bob - it had absolutely nothing to do with the handsome Action Man she was working with!

Edwin did a roaring trade this weekend at the #dollsminimonthlymarket hosted by those lovely ladies Liz @sindylovesstyle and Clare @action_mans_nan

First customer was this lovely Sindy @colleydollylane Edwin thought she had the most glorious colour hair! Next was a visit from Penelope, the Mam'selle editor @dresslikeasindy they had a great chat about independent stalls and buying local. Have a look at @the_minimalist_sindy @jollydollyshop @delvesdolls and @truly.sopel for his other customers.

After the market finished he popped into a local barber's for a trim - I think the barber thought he was potty as Edwin doesn't have a lot of hair to trim!

Meanwhile Sindy nearly got herself a tattoo, but chickened out at the last minute.

Sindy's wash and go was busy with students who had no idea how to use a washing machine!

Rowan found herself a comfy seat at 'The Dog and Bucket' and Edwin spent a pleasant evening chatting to some very pretty girls @truly.sopel @delvesdolls @colleydollylane and a good time was had by all!

The Barber's, Tattoo parlour, Launderette and pub are all Cathy's super box file creations

Thank you for having us yesterday it was a super fun day and so lovely to see everyone 😊

Found this beautiful little pot in a thrift store today for 50p! It's perfectly sized for Sindy or indeed Barbie (if Sindy even lets her get a look in!)

Matteo our esteemed drinks waiter would like to invite you to join us for sunset cocktails on the terrace. He takes great pride in making the most elaborate cocktails that guests can’t get enough of!! 🍸🍹

Today he is serving some new arrivals, who are very excited to be here. They love the cocktails! 🍹😅

Spa Manager Maddison comes out to see them! They hug and kiss like long lost friends. Lots of photos are taken, Matteo photo bombs a couple!! They plan to meet later on when Maddison has finished her shift. She tells them she has booked them in for an afternoon of pampering during their stay!

Over in the corner, 2 Sindys are sitting quietly observing the happy reunion. Rowan is a photographer and has seen the girls before, she says to Lucy, ‘Don’t make it obvious that you are looking, but those girls are from the girlband ‘Scenesetters.’ Maddison used to be the 4th member but has left as she struggled with the fame. Rumour has it she bought this hotel and is happy to work here as Spa Manager. She loves it. This is the first time they have been together since the split!”

We wanted to reunite the girls, we found all 4 at a vintage store in quite poor condition, I bought Maddison and Claudette went back to buy the other 3, so we thought a reunion was fitting for them. We hope you enjoyed our storyline!

Welcome to Sindyrini (our fictional holiday island). Guests are arriving thick and fast now, and JB and Fleur have the job of welcoming them to the Bird of Paradise Hotel.

We have some special guests arriving in their open top sports car, and boy do they have a lot of luggage. 🧳🧳

Several selfies later, they are really to head to the terrace and enjoy some cocktails.🍹🍸

JB has the job of unloading their cases and delivering them to their rooms, he definitely needs the luggage trolley for these guests!! He never can understand how some ladies need so many suitcase for a short holiday, especially when they spend most of their time in the tiniest of bikinis! (He would be scratching his head if her was more articulated! 😂)

I had a lovely afternoon recently with Claudette @thestripyshed, and she bought the very flashy Rainbow High sports car and My Scene dolls with her. We had fun talking dolly stuff about restoring dolls, making clothes and of course a bit of time having fun with making a diorama!

Sindy decided to pop out with bare feet to hang out the laundry in the garden. She and Adam have just come back from an Antarctic polar expedition and can't believe how warm it is here!
"Right," she said to Adam, "you go out to get the ice-creams, whilst I hang out the laundry."
"You're on!" he replied.
"Oh and don't forget get one for Julie @sindyandme too as it's her birthday today!"

As you can see I've been doing mini laundry today trying to get old Action Man whites back some of their brightness. It's been reasonable successful but there are some stains that look as if Action Man has been using wood stain!
It's also the first time I've used Sindy's washing line and I love that you can use it for real washing. Who knew laundry could be such fun!

I've been painting boots again and SindyBella couldn't wait to try them out. She paired them with a knitted dress and matching handbag. She's off out now to celebrate lovely Diane's @the_minimalist_sindy birthday today with a cocktail or two! 🎂❤️

Not a lot, other than Barbie boots and shoes annoyingly don't fit Sindy and that poor SindyBella will definitely have sore feet by the end of the evening after standing on tiptoes in those boots all night!

One of my favourite 70s tv shows recreated by my Sindys to celebrate Bonita's @dresslikeasindy special birthday! Happy Birthday Bonita, hope you are having a fabulous day 🎂

I loved this show as a child and always thought my Sindy looked just like Kelly (Jaclyn Smith) 😆

I've finally managed to create a little space to set up a scene or two, much to Alice's delight who hasn't been able to get into her shop since we moved house!

Here she is, looking ever so radiant in her beautiful flamingo dress made by my lovely friend Liz @sindylovesstyle as a gift 😊 and now she is ready to open her doors to all her lovely customers in Sindy town.

It's raining here now, but I don't care as I'm playing with my Sindys! 💗

"What a beautiful Spring day," thought Sophie as she put on her new Spring bonnet and set off for a woodland stroll.
"The Bluebells smell wonderful!" she said to herself as she laid down her hat for a moment so she could bend down to smell the flowers properly.
In no time at all Sindy's cat, Neville appeared from nowhere, spotted the hat and promptly curled up inside for a morning snooze!

The remaining three photos are a bit of a guide as to how I made the bonnet; gently washing various dried leaves and stalks from the garden, plaiting them into a long strand and letting it dry. Next was sewing it into what looks like a mat, soaking it and shaping it over the bottom of an egg cup and again letting it dry. Lastly was sewing up any holes, of which there were plenty and the hat was already beginning to crumble. I had to use hair pins to keep it in place on Sophie's head and was worried it wouldn't last the photo shoot!

SindyBella (my almost princess) is on her way home after a small soirée at a friends château. She wouldn't wear a coat as she felt it would crush her new tafetta dress and detract from her new fairytale boots. Good job she doesn't feel the cold!

Anyway, she had enjoyed the evening with her friends drinking champagne, eating canapes and gossiping, in fact there had been much speculation about the upcoming party for Pete's birthday on Friday @jollydollysanctuary and who might be in attendance. SindyBella rather hoped that Prince Charming himself might make an appearance and started to plan an outfit for such a prestigious event!

Finally a Sindy is making an appearance and would love to join dear Karen @sindy_doll_collector for #dollsinspring

SindyBella's dress is a little remodeled number from a charity shop find and her boots were repainted by me. I have now got the bug and will be revamping some more soon!
