A year ago, I decided to see what would happen if I stopped drinking.

Turns out, a lot can change in 365 days.

I still don’t have all the answers, and I’m still figuring life out. But I’m really proud of myself for making it here.

Nursing school pushed me to my limits—I truly thought I wouldn’t survive the exams, the long nights, or the self-doubt. But by God’s grace, I never failed a single course. Nursing school taught me how to save lives, but choosing sobriety from alcohol taught me how to save my own. Today, I graduate nursing school and celebrate 90 days alcohol-free—proof that perseverance and faith can completely rewrite a story.

Starting end of October I will be a Neuro ICU Registered Nurse 🩷🩺 by @thesummeraleena
