Why so uptight?

Being a believer doesn’t equal being uptight. There should be some rejoicing!!! 🥳🙌🏽

Some people are going to have a rude awakening when the time comes 😂😭. They’re going to have to learn how to rejoice along with the rest of us because heaven is FULL of life and energy!! 🥳💃🏽🙌🏽

I’ve seen people do this and honestly, I got curious. 😂
So I asked a few questions and decided to see what answers came up. 🤭

Now I’m curious… do you agree with the answers? 😂

Never really studied sunflowers, but I can definitely see myself in them. They shine without trying too hard. I like how bright and full of life they are. 🌻

Yellow is such a happy colour. I would have definitely picked it for myself before this, but seeing it here still made me smile.

Ps; it’s my official favorite colour 🤗

Okay, this one is cute. 😂 I think I like the idea of being something that makes a place feel a little brighter just by being there.

This might be one of my favourites. There’s something about being described as hope that feels really beautiful to me. I like being a hope to people. 🤍

To be specific, Nigerian Jollof! 😂😂
Trust jollof to show up at any and every event, adding colour and energy. 😂 I’ll take it!! 😌

I really like this one. Maybe I’m a cozy café because I like being the kind of person people can come to, settle in, and just be themselves around. ☕️

I’m not even going to defend myself here. 😂 I think I’m just naturally soft when it comes to people I love. I like making people feel loved, remembered and special. So… romance. 😌

This one feels very me. 😂 I think I naturally carry my faith into the way I love people, encourage them, and remind them that God loves them.

This one means a lot to me. I think there’s something special about being around people who don’t require you to have everything figured out before you can be yourself.

I really do love taking ordinary thoughts and turning them into something people can feel.

I think this is my favourite way to end this.

I was reminded today that this path is indeed my own, and I’m being directed by God alone.

I might not measure up to my friends or be where they are, but I’m doing just right by God.

People’s opinions, societal standards, and my peers’ lifestyles hold no control over my life. My life is being ordered by the will of God, and that’s perfectly okay. 😌 taken in Delta State by @thetalkerforchrist

I wrote this sometime last month after a series of classes I had the privilege of teaching, and I was simply in awe.

Not because of my words or my abilities, but because God chose to use me. Because He looked at me and said, “Let My words be heard through her. Let My power be felt through her hands.”

What a privilege.

Since then, I can honestly say I’ve become even more grateful to be used by God. And I’ll never stop saying it:

What a privilege. What a privilege. What a privilege.

If you’ve ever ministered at a conference or stood before people to share God’s Word, then you know how exciting those moments can be. But my prayer is that we never become so familiar with the platform that we forget the One who gives us the ability to stand on it.

May we never forget whose words we carry, whose power is at work through us, and whose glory it all belongs to.

At the end of it all, may we always return every bit of the glory to God, because we were created for one purpose: to glorify His name.

No pride. No self-importance. No ego.

Just gratitude.
