One Year ago today…

I grew up in the church, the only time we missed church was for travel tournaments or vacation other than that we were there. I used to always think I was a Christian, like I had a bible never read it. I mean i go to church, i’m good. could not have been more wrong. When I was in 8th grade, I got into some bad things (dm me i’ll give full story) and those bad things went on until 10th grade, at my school our “prom” is called spring formal and it used to be for all highschool students. 10th grade me not even wanting to be at bayshore decided on the amazing idea of pregaming our “prom because it was going to be boring. Long story short I got caught, and praise God that I did. The very day before I got kicked out of school, April 17th 2025. I showed up late to chapel, I hadn’t slept in 3 nights because I was crying so much. I had no idea what tomorrow was going to look like. I was sitting in the back of the chapel trying to find a way out, and I heard Jesus speak to me. Jesus gave me the perfect way out. I got kicked out of school with the opportunity for a second chance. This past year has been the best year of my life, I lost friends, but gained a family. I lost everything but God gave me everything. So I thank God and I’m ready for another year pursuing Him!!🙌🏽🙌🏽✝️ by @thetateolson_

Meet Tate Olson!

Tate is from Spanish Fort, Alabama, and he is 18 years old! He will be majoring in Global Ministry with a minor in Worship Ministry. His home church is the Church of the Highlands Daphne campus. He enjoys playing guitar, piano, golf, and pickleball.
