Meant to post this Day 2 travels to ABQ 2 wks ago. ( next post will be the 3” of snow we awoke today in ABQ)

ACTUALLY tomorrows post will recap the last 2 weeks that includes Santa Fe, Albuquerque, thanksgiving, brothers birthday, me getting Covid, er for kidney stone and bobo to the er for pancreatitis missing my sweet cousins wedding in Dallas, and leaving the camper in in New mex and driving 2 days and arriving home in nashville 4 min ago. Throat trashed, killer cough, hopefully a passed stone and bobo and I longing for some homestyle healing. Much love.

Drive complete to Amarillo, TX. Loves and pilot app = 10cents off/gal. Which is clutch at 7.5 mpg:). My 2nd cross country road trip has me at the same Reflexology place in Amarillo. Late February ‘23 I stopped here on my way to my dearest cousin-in-law, Sara Busse for her post kidney transplant care. A trip that allowed me so much re-connection and shift. En route to her I got an extended stay with my step brother and his incredible family in Albuquerque which led to me attending The Pennsic War with him and accepting his invitation to thanksgiving and his 50th birthday. Wishing you love, connection and healing this week of thanks. Driving across Oklahoma and Texas vast beautiful land causes much thought and reflection on the millions of indigenous people that call America home. Excited for #albuquerqueturkeyday with sis, bro John Sheldon Julius Noreen II and many many more. Some pics from the day by @theteddypins

Today we go for exploratory liver, biopsy surgery, which historically he has not been a great patient for recovery. It has been a very difficult last 3 to 4 weeks with so many things. He’s been doing medication treatments that have not brought his liver enzymes down. In the last hope, I’m going to have them pull his lab work one more time to see if possibly we’re moving in a better direction to avoid the surgery but otherwise we proceed with that today. Sadly had to cancel a 14 day adventure to Florida and beyond including seven day cruise to the Eastern Caribbean with a group of newfound friends from our Bear Cave campground in Michigan. I’m really nervous about this one. I really cant handle anything happening to him right now. Hug you people and pets. by @theteddypins

First night in northern Michigan nearish Mackinac Island. Staying in the state park right on Lake Superior or one of the big lakes? lol. I’ll get back to the amazing happenings of recent weeks. For now, enjoy this bizarre, snapshot of my evening. Stick thru it. I had to! Ummmmmm by @theteddypins

A dear friend, also named Jen, who beyond astronomical odds has a similar bone marrow cancer as my sister (yet beat hers using her own stem cells) and ironically same doctor. She had a checkup apt today so I offered to be of support. Surreal being in the place, with the doc and on the floor of the very place I said my goodbye to my sister on this very day a year ago. by @theteddypins
