Baking baking baking taught me a lot a lot a lot

First of all, I’d never mailed cookies before and somehow my bakes made it to 4 different cities (Scotland?! HELLO). I’d never sold mini loaves before either and now I think I love them more than cookies. I’d never had to brown 1kg of butter in one go or go through flour like no man’s business. And I definitely never imagined the matcha cookie would hit like an energy drink.

And then, as I sat down for just a second to take it all in… those seconds became a minute, that became an hour, turned into a day, a day became a week, and then a month++. A shoulder injury & exam season will do that to you :(

But it’s okay because it’s finally summer, the sun’s out, and I am SO inspired and ready to start baking again. New menu items are on the way and thank you all so much for being here 🍪🧁💕 by @thetestbatch

She’s baaack with a new look and the same love✨
