Thirteen years on from first writing about her, we’re delighted to premiere the video for Alana Henderson’s new single ‘Not Going Anywhere’ - and to share the news a lot of people have been waiting a very long time for: her debut album Fine is out 13th November.

A gentle paean to being here now, with Alana walking Black Mountain in the mist, Walkman in ears. One of the most singular artists to come out of the North in a generation, and on this evidence, Fine will be one of the records of the year.

Leigh Arthur has announced her debut album, Wait of the World, out 23rd October, led by gorgeous new single ‘Too Little Too Late’.

We’ve followed this solo run from the start - ‘Oh I Forgot’, ‘Same Eyes’, ‘Suddenly’ - and the record, produced by Jonah Falco of Fucked Up, more than delivers on the promise. Nine tracks of heartbreak and defiance, and easily one of the finest Irish debuts you’ll hear this year.
