When I’m 80, I’ll close my eyes and think of this moment; this was 4 years ago already.

I’d do anything to relive this moment again and pick him up and squish and kiss him.

My sister always told me to enjoy even the seasons where you were on your own with your kids because they will be a different kind of special. And that, they were! So many special moments that I cherish.

🎶 one day I’ll get consistently ready again lol, but for now… I’m enjoying whatever this is! 💜 I used to care a whole lot what I posted on social media BUT it’s so much more important to show up as you are in the season you are in.

I’m currently in the season with a teenager, elementary kids, and a baby. It’s a juggling act with all the responsibilities, sports, full time college, etc. our schedules are always packed lol with kids stuff ! It’s a season that I will look back on with love and cherish forever. I love getting ready, but I also love dancing in the living room with our sweet baby more than I care about what I look like at home currently.

Shout out to all the moms who are in the same season or similar. Babies first! 💕

Fondue into Fall 🍁🍂💛 Don’t mind if we do! We turned a regular Tuesday into a night to remember. My mom and auntie boo flew in that morning to visit us from out of state and we knew just the place to take them!

It was their first time experiencing @coloradospringscomeltingpot and boy, did we have fun ordering off their 🍁✨new fall menu✨🍁

The seasonal 3-course menu features the Cranberry Pecan Cheese Fondue, an Apple Almond Salad, and the Pumpkin Spice White Chocolate Fondue dessert 😋

Everyone had their own favorites to dip, twirl, and taste. 🫕

It was a total treat and we can’t wait to go back soon. You can’t beat the amazing service and ambiance!

Highly recommend visiting for any date night, family gathering, celebration, or just a random Tuesday like us.

Life is a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away • James 4:14 🩵

What do you mean this precious face above me will be a big grown man one day?

What do you mean we cant go back in time to relive the moments that made us smile the most?

What I mean is we are ‘mommy’ and ‘daddy’ just for a little while, then ‘mom’ and ‘dad’ for the rest.

I can attest to how fast it goes in my own experiences; 13, 8, 6, and, 4 months. I was once younger too. They know a version of me I’ll never be again.

Man, I really did enjoy every babyhood and toddlerhood. I smiled and laughed often. And now; I’m getting to do it again with a different sweet face and personality that I adore.

We only get to do it once. This is motherhood. This is growing up. This is recognizing that the Lord’s word is true.

We are vapor. Here for one moment. Never to go back.

To all my fellow moms out there, I’m cheersing your coffee cups (or whatever it is you drink to keep going everyday, lol) 🩵 We grew and pushed out these babies!

An honor. Raising babies, life well spent. May they go on to be independent, successful, and, kind adults. 🤍

I’ve had a baby at 18, 23, 25, and now, 31. ‘Mom’ is the greatest title I have ever been given. It’s the reason I am who I am today.

I live a life for them. I can’t imagine the selfish person I might have been had I not had to put myself last for the last 13 years. I can’t imagine not having all the precious memories I do. Oh, how l’ve laughed. Oh, how I’ve enjoyed. Oh, how I’ve struggled. Oh, how it was alllll worth it. This is life. Motherhood is an adventure, it comes with dips, trills, and magnificent stories!

Don’t ever let fear, anxiety, or worry, rob you of your joy during the best most important seasons of your life 💗🩵🩵🩵 soak it in no matter what! God has always faithfully carried me through.

Getting your hair done is the blab time you need, the reset time you need, and the confidence boost you need, I swear.

Also, can we just lift other women up around here?!? I am all for a woman who is MOM, a WIFE, and putting herself out there with her own business. Like, YES! That deserves acknowledgement. It ain’t for the weak. Colorado girlies, Cassandra is your girllll. @hairbycassandranoel Small businesses and the women behind them have my HEART. She is located in Monument (close to Colorado Springs) and has her own salon room.

Too perfect because Lord knows the hell I’ve had to fight to get here. I absolutely adore our sweet rowdy loud loving little family of SIX now. I adore my honey. I am so thankful to the Lord for bringing me out of bleakkkk seasons and all that He has done for me in my life absolutely love spending time together; it’s one of my love languages. 💛

The lake was PERF.
The weather was beautiful.
We had no place else to be; only to be present.

We kind of winged the day. We didn’t want to rush leaving and bring all the stuff that we usually do.

Sunscreen ✅ Towels ✅ Extra Clothes ✅ Baby Stroller ✅
was the extent of the list to keep things easy and light.

A very type B day that went swimmingly. I even did my most
FAVORITED 1 hour self tanner early in the A.M. before we left (which always turns out amazing). I’m still living my best tan life DAYS later. I’ll link it below, I can’t gate keep.

Anywho, I think it’s so important to get outside when you’re a parent, especially a mom in the postpartum season of life. It makes all the difference.

So, your weekend to-do list get yourself a good self tan and get yourself outside with your loved ones. Take the mini day adventure!

Birth Vlog ✨ 24 Hour Time Stamp • 4th Baby. 2 Hr & 24 Min Active Labor. 🤰🏼This was my first time at a birthing center and I LOVED it. Everything went so beautifully. I had the SWEETEST midwife and birthing assistant on call that day. Seriously. It was so kind of the Lord. I played labor worship music the entire time from someone’s playlist on Spotify. I squeezed my birthing comb like no other the entire time. I tried to keep a soft face. I entered in to true MOTHER BIRTH MODE. I focused on my breathing. I called on the Lord in my heart and spirit. I leaned into my honey who was so present, kind, and sweet to me the whole way through. He was in it with me. We danced like we were at prom; my head resting on his shoulder. He held me while the Lord carried me through. The room was quiet, it was peaceful.

You’ll see a glimpse of how KIND my midwife, birthing assistant, the Lord, and my honey was to me this birth experience. I was so blessed by them. I felt fearful and worried in the weeks leading up to my sweet babies birth. And, this was a reminder, like hello... Rachel... I will never leave you nor forsake you; I’m in this with you. 🩵

The feeling of pure love and peace as we played in the most beautiful of settings is a moment that I know I’ll hold tight to forever ♾

The kids and I play often but rarely is it that I get to watch the moment again after it’s gone. Elijah sweetly took videos of us playing and I appreciated that so much.

I think for me it is was the peace we all felt, everything that had our attention…melted away; it was just us. It’s more than a game of tag. It’s choosing to chase one another with a heart full of love and eyes focused on the time we are in.

I often think about what it will be like being 70 and 80 and hopefully, 90. I think about the thoughts, possible regrets and memories that I may have and would reflect on.

To me I see; 3, 5, 10 & 28 - ages we will never experience again, but, we did it together and we will do it again each year until we reach forever.

I choose to smile in all seasons.

I choose to intentionally pursue those who have my heart.

I choose to LIVE daily and to fully enjoy my God-given precious children.

I take all the seasons as an honor; tough ones included.

If the only title I ever receive is mom, that’s okay with me. I just pray I do it well and that they see Jesus in me. 💙

God created them to create me.

I love you, I’ll chase you, life, peace, wonder, love, and God’s promises until I can’t. 🌈

Family Night Out @coloradospringscomeltingpot
Restaurants to celebrate the kids going back to school. 📚♥️

It was our first time all together dining here! It was too fun. I don’t know what was more fun all the options to choose from or hearing the kids reactions to the deliciousness.

We spent like 2.5 hours there and enjoyed every single minute. It was a perfect night! We can’t wait to go back. Truly beats any other resturant for a family dinner night. We were busy the whole time dipping, sniffing, twirling, and giggling.

I think my favorite was the dessert and chocolate dips!!
