Hi everyone ! I know i’ve been dragging a bit but what’s the best option for a first post of the new year ?? an introduction post ! I’m so sorry guys, i never formally introduced myself or The Tiny Guayaba 🤭

I’m Yuli (pronounced you-lee) and this is my small business The Tiny Guayaba! Guayaba is Guava in spanish and pronounced (gway-aa-bah). My parents are from mexico and my sisters and I loved eating tons of guavas when we would visit so it’s a fruit that holds a lot of love and sentimental value to me and I wanted to incorporate it into my business name! My sisters and I also love small and mini cute things, so I thought The Tiny Guayaba held something close to home PLUS being adorable <33

Speaking of family, I crochet everything myself BUT the love, support and help of my family is what keeps me going! I couldn’t do any of it without each and every single one of them and they’re my whole heart and soul!

I started doing markets full time last year and it was just absolute magic! I’m so thankful to everyone in the Birmingham area who stopped by to chat & so appreciative of everyone who loved something enough to buy it! I love cute things, I’m so grateful I get the chance to make so many and I loveeeee that you all like them enough to want em 🥹💖!

I’m making a promise to my family and to everyone supporting me and my small business as well, I promise I’ll be putting my absolute best foot forward and I hope you’ll all stick by and join me through every part! I have lots of goals this year for The Tiny Guayaba that, sneak peek 👀, could include things like, my first pattern, be more consistent with my social media accounts & website and a possible youtube channel! 🫶🏼🫶🏼

May i present to you, Tofu the cat snuggler ! This absolute sweetie was so much fun to work up and was a delightful way to try to beat my lack of crojo (crochet mojo)!

She’s an adorable pale siamese kitty ! and i can’t get enough of her 💖

Hi everyone !! Sorry for the mini disappearance (compared to my usual ones hehe), my fiancé and I just got back from vacation but now WE’RE IN PREP MODEEE!

But first, a very special cow for a very special girl !

This cutie was a gift commissioned by my brother in law for my sister’s birthday 🥳🐮

This cutie was so fun to work on and i loved seeing him come together while i had worked on him. 🥰💖

Hi everyone ! long time no see, so sorry about that btw!

sooo i’m not sure if you lovely folks remember helping me pick out my next crochet project, but the porch goose was picked and I have completed him !!

full confession is that i had finished him basically the day you all finished voting but ive been consumed by imposter syndrome and it’s really kept me from creating, sharing and even chit chatting ! Which idk about you guys but i feel like im usually pretty chatty !

Anywhoooo, i want to be much better at just enjoying the craft and everyone who kindly joins me, you guys all make everything better ! 💖 AND IVE MISSED YOU BUNCHES !

Hi everyone !!

Sorry it’s been so long ! BUT i have a new lil guy to show you todaaay ❤️❤️

This is my new lil Honey Bunny ! My first amigurumi brain child 🥹!

One of my tias ((aunts in spanish)) actually reached out to me for a commission of a “honey bunny” as a valentines gift and i couldn’t really find a pattern that was what i wanted for this commission, so i made one ?!?! 😱😱

Truth be told, i’m always overwhelmed about the fact that in my crochet journey, i haven’t really been able to make something without a pattern 🥺. BUT, i made this baby, with my own brain ?? and the bunny comes out of the honey pot ??? SO CUTE !!

ANYWHO, long story short, this is my first baby and i hope you guys like her ! 🥹💖 i’ll be making another soon to tweak some parts of the pattern and hopefully if you folks like her enough, maybe she could be my first real pattern to share ?? 😱 hehe maybe im getting ahead of myself BUT the most important thing is i hope you all like her !!! Thanks for all your love and support 🥰🥰

Hii everyone !! Long time no talk and i’m so sorry ! Buttt i was gone for good reason !

We’re engaged !! I’m sooo excited for these next chapters for us and I wanted to share the good news !

Please take a look at my pretty mermaid, Conchita !! and it may or may not be because she was inspired by the cute mexican breads, conchas 🥰💖

She was originally made for the Dia De Los Muertos market, but you guys won’t believe when i say I left her in virginia and she didn’t even get to go to the market 😭😭

Let me know if you can see a concha as her jellyfish top or if I missed the mark !

Also alll the thanks to my big sister for helping with the idea and the color scheme, all my makes would be less wonderful without her !! 💖🥰

Who’s that pokémon ??

It’s mudkip ! (and a mystery pokémon at the end if you keep swiping 👀)

It’s myyyy mudkip i got to create helping to test @fildeminuit ‘s new pattern that just released today! I absolutely loved getting to be a part of the tester group and working on mudkip was so much fun! The pattern itself is just as fun and your finished mudkip, it’s so clear, easy to understand and honestly, equally cute <33

Just wanted to say a big thank you again to @fildeminuit and i hope you all love the pattern as much as I do and get a copy asap!! 💖
