What a lovely meal after ages ❤️ I'm really thrilled that South mumbai is going through its own little revival with new restaurants and I've just added @hearthrestaurant.in to my roster of regulars.

It's been on my list for a while now and finally got down to visit and it was just a lovely evening with excellent food. I can't wait to re visit !

Was also pleasantly surprised to see the restaurant almost at full capacity on a Wednesday night. Nicely done sobo !

While i have a lot to go back and try I'd recommend the podi run chicken ( incredibly juicy moist chicken ) the Asian stir fry green ( my god what joy ) and the bride and cherry tomato tart ( just beautiful and now I only want my brief whipped ) and the four cheese pizzette ( this was one of the best quatro formagi I've had ) though next time I'm trying them with chorizo or lamb

The amazing #beerandburgerfestival at @woodsidemumbai is back and as their loyal fan who eats here every festival i couldn't miss it ! 🍻 🍔 🍟

There is a tendency to look at someone’s byline and assume there was a plan. A journalism degree, a chosen beat, a carefully plotted career and, eventually, a place at the table. The reality is usually far messier. And far more interesting.

For this edition of Portion Control, we turned the questions on ourselves. What did we think we would become? When did writing enter the picture? And how did food eventually become part of the story?

The answers made us laugh, revisit a few forgotten versions of ourselves, and wonder what those younger selves would make of where we ended up.

15 courses of the most incredible Japanese dishes with lots of sushi. Here, you choose what the chef decides to serve you and there is no menu. It's a fabulous experience and this is at @otokirestaurant in Colaba Mumbai
