Oh joy, I have a stripped valve cover bolt head. Of course it's one the ones in the back.

I wish they told me about it when it happened. People make mistakes, it's fine, I'll buy a replacement bolt, it's not a problem. Just don't hide stuff from me, thank you very much.

No idea which shop it was at this point. I'll fix it.
At least I was able to get it out without too much trouble.

Pulled the oil filter out. Noticed some fine flecks in the oil as it was running down out of the filter.

Drained the oil and saved it for later. I'll have to filter it to see how much metal is in it.

Not really what you want to find in your oil or between the oil filter folds.

It's not looking catastrophic, but it's DEFINITELY not a good sign.

Oil pressure started fluctuating and dropping while driving a couple days ago.
It was low on oil. I added some #pumpkinspice flavored #liquimoly (orange label).
It was still lower pressure than usual at idle when cold and slowly dropping.
Plan is to cut up the oil filter to look for metal. I guess I have to drop the oil pan too and check the pick up for gunk. Going to open up the valve cover to inspect things there.
Any other suggestions?

My neighbors probably think that I'm not right in the head. Car is in pieces damn near daily in the last two weeks.
Also, why do I have to disassemble half the car to reach a light bulb in the headlights? by @thetiredoldman

It's been seeping some fuel for a while. Definitely annoying, inconvenient and messy.
Not 100% on if it's the timing sensor leaking or the bottom of the O ring.
Time to get in there and repair this. by @thetiredoldman

Well, #anvilpowered is running, driving, stopping and still puzzling me with small things. Just have to take it one step at a time and smooth out the wrinkles. It's nice to drive it around some. Have to break in the motor and all that.
