If we believe that “ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER” then why do we fail to submit everything! Our failures, our inconsistency, the unfavorable circumstances. They are all tools in the hand of the master to form you into His preferred shape. You aren’t being punished, you’re being prepared. You aren’t failing, you’re being formed. by @thetkmorrison

There are no missed steps in God.

I know it feels like you’re behind.

Like you should’ve figured it out by now.
Like you should have more clarity.
Like everybody else got the blueprint and you only got the next step.

But maybe that’s exactly how God intended it.

God doesn’t always give you clarity for the entire journey. Sometimes He gives you clarity for the next step.

“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord.” — Psalm 37:23

Notice: steps.

Not the whole staircase.
Not the entire blueprint.
Not every detail of what’s coming next.

Just the step.

So stop grieving the steps you think you missed.

If you’re walking with God, you haven’t missed your moment. You haven’t missed your purpose. You haven’t missed the plan.

Take the step He’s giving you.

You don’t need to see the whole path when you trust the One ordering your steps. by @thetkmorrison

DECLUTTER

Every transition into a new season requires assessment and offloading from the previous one. Some habits can’t go with, some thought patterns won’t serve you, some people can’t take the journey with you. Reflect on what was, be thankful for the purpose it served, and give it over so that you don’t clutter your new space with old weight. Your new season deserves adequate space for you to grow into it, and you’ll stunt your growth trying to hoard old things in a new season!

Sometimes being on God’s “strongest soldiers” list feels like punishment, but hardship can be preparation.

Job was tested, stretched, and pushed through a season he didn’t understand, yet God was still working.

Keep trusting. Keep enduring. Keep the faith.

Don’t mistake preparation for punishment. 🙏🏽 by @thetkmorrison

Here’s The Truth about Grief (from experience)

Before you feel ready, grief has a way of asking to be felt. What we delay doesn’t disappear, but often returns in inconvenient moments, unexpected reactions, and emotions that seem to come out of nowhere. Healing isn’t found by outrunning grief but by making room for it. Feel it when it comes. It’s not your enemy; it’s often the pathway to wholeness. 🖤 by @thetkmorrison

I’ve been thinking…

Maybe we need to stop marketing every Sunday like it’s the greatest service in the history of the Church.

“This Sunday will change your life.”
“You’ll never be the same.”
“Heaven is going to invade the room.”

Can God do all of that? Absolutely.

Does every single Sunday feel like that? Probably not.

Sometimes the most life-changing thing that happens is someone quietly learns to forgive. A marriage takes one small step toward healing. A believer understands a passage of Scripture for the first time. Someone decides to come back next week.

Transformation is often more like formation than fireworks.

Instead of selling hype, what if we sold value?

“This Sunday we’re opening God’s Word.”
“We’re talking about anxiety.”
“We’re learning how to forgive.”
“We’re becoming more like Jesus.”

People don’t need exaggerated expectations. They need faithful preaching, authentic community, and room for the Holy Spirit to work however He chooses.

Ironically, when we stop trying to convince people every Sunday is “the biggest Sunday ever,” they may begin to trust us more—and appreciate the extraordinary moments when God truly does move in unmistakable ways.

Faithfulness over fanfare. Formation over fascination.

Boredom isn’t always harmless. More often than we’d like to admit, it’s the doorway we walk through toward distraction, unhealthy habits, and temptation. Instead of learning to be present with God, we numb ourselves with whatever is closest.

But Jesus didn’t come just to rescue us from sin. He came that we might have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The abundant life isn’t found in endless entertainment; it’s found in communion with Christ. As we learn to delight in His presence, boredom begins to lose its grip, and purpose starts to take its place. by @thetkmorrison
