💜 Tracey Easton raised £180 from a family fundraising 3 course dinner
💜 One of our young community members Eliza, completed a 30 lap park walk (Over 13 miles!) and has now raised over £600
💜 Kick-Start Publishing chose us as their CFJ flooring awards evening charity of choice, raising over £800
💜 MIA held a coffee morning in the office raising £63
💜 Derek & Jill Carver held a soul music afternoon in Doncaster, raising £1,575
💜 Adam Marchant completed the Berlin Marathon and has now raised over £1,000

This September's SSS outing was the perfect example of what your support can achieve through this month's 30 Days for Tay campaign 💜

Our group headed to the Ballerz Air Dome for a football party, for an incredible start to the day! Team Taylor FC and Tayside United played a brilliant match, with a wide range of player levels, including some future football stars 🌟 The game ended in an impressive 8-8 draw, and Oscar was awarded Player of the Match after kindly swapping teams to give the side with the chaperones a fighting chance. What a true team player ⚽

After the match there was time to take on the robot goalie! They were good, but no match for the powerful Sibling Support strikers!

The day finished with a Build-A-Bear workshop, with each young person creating their own unique cuddly companion, adding hearts and wishes, and choosing special outfits to make them truly individual. For two of the group, they chose to create their bears in memory of the siblings they have lost, selecting outfits that reflected things their brothers or sisters loved. It was a touching and meaningful way to remember them 🧸

A fantastic day full of smiles and laughter. We can't wait to see everyone again next month!

Last week 3 of our wonderful TMD volunteers, Carole, Lisa & Philippa, hosted a TMD movie night for 30 Days for Tay at the @assemblyhalltheatre 🎭

The evening's movie? The film that inspired Suzi and Taylor to create Taylor's own wish list, The Bucket List. A touching tribute to Taylor's legacy, at an extra special movie venue, the newly redecorated lower foyer bar at the Assembly Hall Theatre 🎥🍿

There have been 7 movie nights this month, all watching the bucket list, and together they have raised over £500 for 30 Days for Tay! 💜

“It’s something that you know everyone else has had the same experience with, but you’re not pressured to talk about it and you can just have some fun, but it’s with people that are going through the same things as you, so it’s like a mutual understanding and comfort”

Two incredible 30 Days for Tay challenge events are going the extra mile, with a cycle from Lands End to John O' Groats completed last weekend, and a Berlin marathon this weekend 🚴🏃

Last week, Andrew Watson took on a cycle the length of the UK, and completed it! 950 miles, and almost £6,000 raised, split between Taylor-Made Dreams and My Name's Doddie Foundation 🚲

This weekend, Adam Marchant is flying to Berlin to take on the Berlin Marathon, all in support of 30 Days for Tay 👟

A massive thank you to Andrew and Adam for choosing to support our 30 Days for Tay campaign, taking on such demanding challenges, to make a massive difference for Taylor-Made Dreams families 💜

Through our photo experiences service, families are able to capture beautiful moments, at a place that is special to them, which they can then display at home 🏡

The service recently enabled TMD Warrior Josh and his family to create some beautiful photos in the sun, thanks to the amazing @anthony.elvyphotography 💜

After the family has selected their favourite, we deliver the chosen photo printed on a canvas, alongside all of the digital photos from the day. We hope they can be a source of joy, remembering the wonderful memories they have shared together.

There are only a couple of weeks left of our 30 Days for Tay campaign, and we are now at over £20,000 raised! A massive milestone made possible thanks to some amazing community events, and the generosity of the TMD community 💜

In memory of what would have been Taylor Mitchell's 30th year, 30 Days for Tay aims to raise £30,000 in the month of September, to fundraise to continue all that his legacy has supported.

We are almost at our fundraising goal, and we are truly grateful to everyone who has supported the campaign so far 🫶

It's been a busy few weeks at Taylor-Made Dreams, with the Dragon Boat Race and some incredible 30 Days for Tay events, all working towards enabling our services for current and future TMD families 💜

We have had two inspiring young supporters making milkshakes for their street and raising £31, TMD volunteer @teresasedgepilates held a day of Pilates classes with a cake sale raising £1221.28, and our three TMD Dragon Boats raised £9,417.18! An amazing amount raised by our superstar community members 🌟

Whether you're hosting a TMD event or participating in one, donating your time and effort to fundraise for TMD really makes a wonderful difference. Thank you 🫶

Last month we arranged a day out for our Young Ambassadors, to celebrate their hard work as awareness raisers, and hear about their ideas for future fundraisers 💜

For our meet-up in Brighton, we started the day with a sushi making class at the @brighton_cookery_school, where our Young Ambassadors made some delicious lunches. Alongside learning new skills, we heard from our eldest and youngest Young Ambassadors, Clara and Norah, who shared some of the incredible ways they have supported the charity. From swimming the Channel, to speaking about our Charity during a school assembly, their dedication and enthusiasm continue to inspire us all ⭐

After lunch, the group visited Brighton's Preston Circus Fire Station Blue Watch, where we were treated to a tour of the station and had the opportunity to learn more about the vital work firefighters do every day to keep our communities safe.

We ended the day with @globallsofficial mini-golf, where we heard some wonderful fundraising ideas, including organising a school disco, and a 30-mile bike ride for 30 Days for Tay.

Our Young Ambassadors are incredible role models for our charity. Through their kindness, commitment, and willingness to raise awareness within their communities, they help us reach more supporters & the next generation to make a real difference. We are proud to have them as valued members of our TMD family 🫶

When Freddie first met Gordon Ramsay, Freddie's love for cooking shone through 🌟 So much so, that Gordon offered a day in one of his kitchens, where Freddie could learn to make Gordon's signature beef wellington 🍽️

This month Freddie was able to make that dream come true!

Thanks to @gordongram, @gordonramsayacademy and the staff at @breadstreetkitchen, Freddie was able to travel to London and have a dream day in the kitchen making an amazing looking beef wellington, just like Gordon's.

A magical day had, and a wonderful memory made for Freddie. A massive thank you to Gordon and the staff at Bread Street Kitchen for going above and beyond to enable this second wish 💜
