Last week we hosted our first-ever “Gloves & Glasses.” 🥊🥂

As we wrapped up Black History Month and stepped into International Women’s Month, we brought the community together for a women’s boxing class and mixer.

Over 30 people attended this invite-only event, including 20+ women, some of our youth athletes, and a few pro boxers from @waymakerboxing in Dorchester.

After the class, everyone headed to @north26boston where we closed out the night with a sneak peek of Siempre, an innovative App that turns your most meaningful relationships into something you can wear, along with fresh juice shots from our partners at @j1ajuice

First time doing something like this, and it definitely won’t be the last.

Thank you to everyone who showed up and helped make the night special. 💯

Big things are happening at The Town Boxing‼️‼️‼️

In just one year, we’ve welcomed over 75 youth from Charlestown, Boston, and neighboring communities, helping them build not only boxing skills but also important life skills. 🥊💪

As we gear up for our first anniversary, we’re excited to announce our first-ever fundraiser, launching Wednesday, October 16th, and running through Friday, October 19th.

Just like a fight, we’re taking on three rounds of fundraising to keep the momentum going and continue supporting our youth. 🔄

Stay tuned for more details on how you can get involved and help us make an even bigger impact! 👊

Thank you to Sean O’Brien, President of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, for coming to The Town Boxing Gym and sitting in on our Board of Trustees meeting. We’re also incredibly grateful for the generous donation made on behalf of the Teamsters.

Your support means a great deal to our gym and our community. 🙏🏽🥊🙏🏽 taken in The Town Boxing by @thetownboxing
