SWIPE TO SEE
🔥 Back Raise Variations 🔥

Build strength in your posterior chain with these simple but powerful bodyweight moves. Great for posture, lower back endurance, and full-body control.

👉 Try 6–10 reps of each variation.

Save this for your next workout 💪 and tag me if you give it a go!

This is my wonderful special client Frances!

Frances is in her mid-80s, and I’ve been working with her for nearly two years. When we first started, she couldn’t do a single glute bridge. Last week, she was completing multiple reps comfortably and without pain.

Watching her build strength, confidence, and trust in her body has been such a joy, and honestly one of the most rewarding parts of my work as a trainer in London. Also she tells the best stories - and is always just so fabulous.

It’s never too late to move better 🥳 by @thetrainingkit

Meet Kit (co founder)

Originally from Waiheke Island, Aotearoa New Zealand, Kit Reilly (he/him) is a queer multidisciplinary artist whose work spans choreography, dance, music composition, filmmaking, photography and movement education.

After graduating from the New Zealand School of Dance, Kit built an international career as a performer, choreographer and composer. His work has taken him from New York and Shanghai to Melbourne, Italy, Montréal and London through performances, artistic residencies and collaborations with internationally recognised artists and companies.

His choreographic works include the full-length production Utopia #9, featuring an original self-composed score, and the award-winning dance film series Turbulent Kingdoms, supported by Creative New Zealand. His films have received recognition at festivals across Paris, Rome, São Paulo, Los Angeles and Toronto, while his wider artistic career has been recognised through the North Harbour Club AIMES Arts Award, the Bill Sheat Dance Award and the Tup Lang Choreographic Award.

Alongside his creative practice, Kit has spent years coaching movement across personal training, yoga, barre and Pilates. Since relocating to London in 2024, he has taught at studios including BLOK and Studio M, combining performance-based movement with strength, mobility and longevity.

At VOLT, Kit brings these disciplines together. Alongside 1:1 and 2:1 personal training and Pilates coaching, he offers movement direction, creative photography, headshots, fitness and dance photography, filmmaking, music production and artistic collaboration.

VOLT is a space where coaching and creativity exist side by side. by @thetrainingkit
